Known issues
When all devices are connected to 1 location and that location is deleted, some devices will still show
in the settings screen.
• When the APEX loses connection to Timing & Scoring it is not necessary to reload all the data
when the connection is restored.
• A fix has been made on NTP and GPS for situations where there was a date difference
because of time zones
• On the main screen you can select the left arrow to see your MAC and IP address
• Go to menu ‘Status’ – ‘Software Version’ and press enter to get the list of available software
versions
• Select 2.5.7, Wait till all files are downloaded and press enter to restart with the new software.
Please check your system before use. For some decoders there could be an issue in getting a
GPS lock. If you experience this issue, please contact MYLAPS support for a maintenance
code to fix this.

Major:
-Live results upload to MYLAPS SportHive
-Improve Teamwork performance - memory use on server and cpu use both client and server
-Improve device communication performance - CPU overhead when communicating with multiple
devices
Minor:
-Improve error messaging when loading Athletes file - show more informative message if file loading
fails
-Improve lap counting performance, mostly concerning very large number of laps for small number of
chip codes
-Improve Scoring results upload with additional information (gender, country, gun/chip time, country,
city)
-Add Timing and Scoring version as field for TCP export and update documentation
Major:
-The race clock at the race progress screen runs live know instead only with a page refresh
-Scoring time of day times could change when opening a race in different timezone then it was
created in
-Single use chips previously accepted might be shown as filtered after SU file has expired
-No longer require reload of all passings when re-establishing connection to Apex/Portable ProChip
Decoder
-Multiple Timing and Scoring connections to a Decoder with different import rules could cause a sync
to continually run
-When setting a filter rule to allow tags in your race it is now possible to enter xxx-yyyyy in the batch
field and filter on this.
Minor:
-Fix clickable area of certain device labels
-Fix infinite loop that can occur when scrolling between device files using the keyboard
-Fix error dialog shown when exporting device number to TCP exporter with a device being initialized
-Reconnect with new username/password credentials when they are changed in TCP exporter
settings
-Scoring full name imported in one column can be shown twice in ranking
-Drop down list of sync devices correctly tracking status of connected Decoders
-Drop down list of sync devices auto-sync disable button is always available
-When resizing main window the lower status/setting tab can resize unexpectedly
-Detect chip type of imported ReadLite file, better handling of sample data for testing EventApp setup
-TCP exporter location name change not reflected immediately if there are passings to resend
-Fix rare situation where Scoring results window would not reopen
-Loading an old race file with Scoring may use last used course type (triathlon/running) instead of one
chosen in old .race
-Set permissions of Windows installation folder so all users can run Timing and Scoring, in rare cases
default permissions would not allow this
-Add prompt to installer if user wants to overwrite existing installation changes compared to Timing &
Scoring 2.5 (released 2017-08)
