Edroso and on behalf of the faculty of DVRMNHS, I would like to extend a very
warm welcome to all of you.
To formally start, may I request everyone to have a moment of silence for our
opening prayer to be followed by the singing of our nationalistic song.
Thank you very much Ma’am Jean Marie Brual for a very informative discussion.
As what Ma’am Jean said that there are four curriculum exits to choose from.
After you graduate from SHS, you can choose 1) to be employed, 2) start your
own business, 3) go to college, or 4) get a higher certification to develop more
specialized skills. Hopefully, at this moment through the presentation of Maam
Jean, naa nay idea atong Grade 12 learners kung asa sila padung/ or unsa nga
curriculum exit ilang pillion. Aside from that thank you also maam Jane for
sharing with us how to avoid illegal recruitment.
Students, if you have queries, clarifications, you may click the ‘hand raise icon’ or
you may also send your question to our chat box.
Ok, let’s give our students few minutes to type their question. I think they are
still organizing their thoughts. So while waiting, let me remind those participants
who have not yet accomplished the attendance. Maam Tan can you please
present that attendance one more time?
Maam Mae, how’s our chat box maam? Naa na bay questions from our
students?
By the way students, if naa moy mga pangutana nga wala pa natubag this
morning, you may send your questions to Maam Mae our Senior High School
Guidance Counselor.
Let’s move on to awarding of certificate to our guest speaker. Let us hear what’s
inside the certificate, Maam Tan, please do the honors.
Before we end, do you have an announcement maam Tan and Maam Mae?
On behalf of the faculty of DVRMNHS, I would like to thank Ma’am Jean for
taking your time to join us this morning. And to all of our grade 12 participants
and to all the advisers present, thank you so much for attending this activity.
So, our orientation has now come to an end but I hope that what you have
learned does not end here.
Keep safe everyone and God bless us all. Once again, this is Ms. Trisha Edroso,
signing off.

To welcome us all for today’s orientation (to give us the opening remarks),
please help me welcome our dedicated school principal II of DVRMNHS, let’s
give a virtual round of applause to Madame Marilou T. Dela Cuesta.
Alright students! Are you ready? Before we call in our speaker this morning, I
would like to ask our participants if they have already made a decision as to
what track and strand they are going to enrol in SHS?
Alright! So, dear parents, today’s orientation will help our students discover
which careers are most suitable for them according to their unique abilities,
interests, and skills.

At this time, may I call in Ma’am Vanesa Tan, our JHS Guidance Designate in the
day session – for the introduction of today’s speaker. Ma’am Tan?
Thank you very much Ma’am Jean Marie Brual for a very informative discussion.
Before, we cater questions from our students and parents, I would like to ask
first some questions just to check if our students are still there – if they are
really listening.
Alright, are you ready! Please get ready to type in your answer in our chat box.
First question, RIASEC stands for REALISTIC, INVESTIGATIVE, ARTISTIC, SOCIAL,
ENTERPRISING AND CONVENTIONAL. These are the six categories. Now, if you
like to observe, learn, analyze and solve problems, which category do you
belong?
ANSWER: INVESTIGATIVE
Second question: How about if you are detail-oriented, organized and like to
work with data? Which category do you belong?
ANSWER: CONVENTIONAL
Last Question: If you like to work things that you can see and touch, you like to
fix things or put things together, which category do you belong?
ANSWER: REALISTIC
Alright, so since most of our students were able to get the right answers, I would
like to assume that they are really listening well to our guest speaker. Thank you
students for your participation.
Maam Mae, how’s our chat box maam? Naa na bay questions from our
students?
By the way students, if naa moy mga pangutana nga wala pa natubag this

taking your time to join us this morning. And to all of our grade 10 participants,
parents, co-guidance designate and counselor, and to all the advisers present,
thank you so much for attending this activity.
So, our orientation has now come to an end but I hope that what you have
learned does not end here. We hope that through this orientation, you are
already aware and discover what career is most suitable for you.
Before we end this orientation, I would like to quote a famous statement from
the famous Ms. Oprah Winfrey. She said that “ You have to create the highest,
grandest vision possible for your life because you become what you believe”.
Keep safe everyone and God bless us all.
