Reinforced Concrete Design To Sans 10100-1-2000
to SANS 10100-1:2000
Course lecturer: Greg Parrott (Pr. Tech. Eng)
Course objective
This one-day course is aimed at developing an understanding into the basic design theory as well as
demonstrating the application thereof from a practical design point of view.
The course would be suitable for young engineers and technologists, as well as experienced engineers who feel
the need to get back to grips with the basics of reinforced concrete design.
Experienced engineers, who have not been involved with the design of reinforced concrete for some length of
time, may find that new or future projects do require the design of reinforced concrete elements. This course
would be a good refresher to enable such a person to tackle these tasks with renewed confidence.
Each delegate will receive a copy of the book “Reinforced Concrete - Design to SANS 10100-1: 2000” by Greg
Parrott
