Congruence of Triangles

1. Lines are congruent if their lengths are equal. If the length of AB is equal to the length of CD, then line AB is congruent to line CD. 2. Triangles are congruent if their three sides are equal. If AB = EF, AC = EG, and BC = FG, then triangle ABC is congruent to triangle DEFG. 3. Triangles are also congruent if two angles of one triangle are equal to two angles of another triangle and the included side is also equal. If angle A = angle E, angle B = angle F, and side AC = side EG, then triangle ABC is congruent to triangle DEFG.
