Noun Clause

This document discusses noun clauses in English grammar. It begins with an explanation that noun clauses are dependent clauses that can function as subjects, objects, or complements within a sentence. It then provides examples of noun clauses fulfilling each of these five functions: as a subject, direct object, indirect object, object of a preposition, and subject complement. The chapter on summary restates that noun clauses can replace nouns in various parts of speech. It concludes by acknowledging limitations in the writer's knowledge and inviting feedback.
