Content Standard: Performance Standard: Learning Competencies

This lesson plan outlines setting up a computer network configuration activity. Students will learn to trace IP addresses using the "ipconfig" command in DOS. They will use laptops, a projector, and desktop computers connected via Ethernet cables to a wireless router. The activity involves students opening the command prompt, typing "ipconfig" to view the IP configuration, and answering questions about IP addresses and how to locate them on different systems. The goal is for students to understand network connectivity checking procedures and techniques like ping and netstat.

D. ANALYSIS
1. What is the ipconfig?
2. What did you do in locating the IP address assign in the different system unit?
E. ABSTRACTION
The learner will know to identify the IP address assign of each different system unit through the DOS
type by typing the command of “ipconfig”.
F. VALUING
The learner was able to know how to trace the IP address assign of each different system unit.
G. APPLICATION
The learner identify the IP address assign of each different system unit.
They have to know how to trace each of the assign IP address.
They have to use the cmd command by locating the DOS type.

IV. EVALUATION

½ Crosswise: Questions:
1. What is the IP address?
2. Find out the assign IP address of the system unit.
3. What is the command in locating the entire IP address?
