MATHS LAB XII Students 21-22 Term-1
To identify whether the given function is many-one or one-one, into or onto by considering domains and
codomains.
To draw the graph of sin−1 𝑥, using the graph of sin 𝑥 and demonstrate the concept of mirror reflection
(about the line 𝑦 = 𝑥).
To find the analytically the limit of a function 𝑓(𝑥) 𝑎𝑡 𝑥 = 𝑐 and also to check the continuity of the
function at that point.
To construct an open box of maximum volume from a given rectangular sheet by cutting equal squares
from each corner.
NOTE :- Students kindly follow the instructions for making a MATHS project file.
(i) Maths project file covering by blue cover for XII A [Science stream], yellow cover for XII B
[Commerce stream] and orange cover for XII C [Humanities stream] and additional
students.
(ii) On the cover of project file you have to mentions the details in following manner:-

Decorate the first page of the project file through A4 size coloured papers and also use it for project file.
(iii) Allotted topics for project file according to the roll.no. in the respective classes

of Indian mathematicians such as Aryabhata, Brahmagupta, Varahamihir, Sridhara,
Bhaskar Acharya, Ramanujan.
➢ From roll.no. 13-17[XII A] –On linear Programming problems related to day-to-day
life like collecting data from families of their expenditures and requirements from
the factories to maximum output.
➢ From roll.no. 18-22[XII A] –To minimize the cost of food while meeting the dietary
requirements of the staple food of the adolescent students of your school.
➢ From roll.no. 23-28[XII A] – Project on history of Mathematics: It may include
history of Indian mathematicians such as Aryabhata, Brahmagupta, Varahamihir,
Sridhara, Bhaskar Acharya, Ramanujan.
➢ From roll.no. 29-34[XII A] – On linear Programming problems related to day-to-day
life like collecting data from families of their expenditures and requirements from

➢ From roll.no. 35-41,50[XII A] –To minimize the cost of food while meeting the

➢ For humanities [XII C] students having additional subject is Math – Project on
history of Mathematics: It may include history of Indian mathematicians such as
Aryabhata, Brahmagupta, Varahamihir, Sridhara, Bhaskar Acharya, Ramanujan.
(iv) Hand written project file should be accepted only, not more than five pages and not less
than three pages in the project file.
(v) Same contents for same topics are not accepted.
(vi) Do all the above work as soon as possible.
