The Virtual Intramurals 2021 is organized and managed by the College Student Council –

B. PARTICIPATING TEAM

Participation in Virtual Intramurals 2021 shall be by Program. The theme of the event shall
be based on the movie series: Divergent. Listed below are the programs, team name and
colors.

D. EVENTS AND OTHER SUPPLEMENTARY GUIDELINES

SPORTS WRITING

1. Each team shall send two (2) students who will represent their team individually.
2. The competition is on-the-spot. However, the contestants may start practicing ahead
of the competition date using the theme as basis of their work.
3. Each participant shall provide their own papers and pens.
4. The participant shall send pictures to the committee during the competition proper.
5. On the day of the competition, the contestants will be given 1 hour and 30 mins to
draft and finalize their piece. If necessary, a ten-minute extension will be given. The
piece must be written in English.
6. The piece of each contestant shall be posted on our official page only, wherein votes
(thru wow reactions) shall be counted.

STORY TELLING

1. Each team shall send one (1) contestant only.


2. Appropriate attire with moral and ethical standards is required to each contestant.
3. All contestants are required to submit the story that they will use to the contest
committee on messenger or g-mail, one day before the actual contest.
4. Each contestant is given with a minimum of five (5) and maximum of ten (10)
minutes for the presentation of the story.
5. The time will begin once the contestant utters the first word of his/her story. A penalty
of one (1) point deduction every 30 seconds in excess.
6. Judge’s decision is final.

CHARCOAL RENDERING

1. The contest is open to all bona fide students of DDOSC New Bataan and will be held
in a virtual meeting through google meet.
2. Only two (2) entries per team is allowed in this category.
3. Materials will be provided by the contestants and must use illustration board with 1/8
size as medium.
4. The subject of the contest will be given by the Head of the Committee during the
competition.
5. The contestants are given with a maximum of two (2) hours to finish their output.
6. The piece shall be posted on our official page wherein votes (thru wow reaction) shall
be counted.
7. Judges’ decision is final.

POSTER SLOGAN

1. The contest is open to all bona fide students of DDOSC New Bataan and will be held
in a virtual meeting through google meet.
2. Only two (2) entries per team is allowed in this category.
3. Poster and slogan should meet the theme.
4. Materials will be provided by the contestants and must use 1/2 cartolina as a medium.
5. The slogan should be written in the drawing material or within the poster, and the
number of words should not be more than ten (10) words.
6. Contestants are given with one and half (1 ½) hour to finish their poster slogan.
7. The piece shall be posted on our official page wherein votes (thru wow reaction) shall
be counted.
8. Judges’ decision is final.

PHOTO ESSAY CONTEST

1. Photo contest is open to all bona fide students of DDOSC New Bataan
2. Each contestant should submit one photo only (with caption that explains the subject)
to the committee.
3. Mode of submission will be through messenger, email, or FB page.
4. Photos shall be posted on our official page only, wherein votes (thru wow reactions)
shall be counted.

DDOSC TOP MODEL

1. DDOSC Top Model competition is open for all bona fide students of Davao de Oro
State College
2. Each college department must have three (1 male, 1 female and 1 LGBTQ) who will
represent the team with pleasing personality
3. This competition shall adapt a new normal way of pageantry where candidates will be
required to prepare for and participate in the following proportions of the competition:
 Self-introduction thru video presentation.
 Uniform Wear competition through Photo.
 Eco-Tourism Recyclable Costume through Photo

Self-introduction thru Video Presentation


 The candidates are required to submit a self-introduction video.
 The video must be one (1) minute but not more than two (2) minutes.
 The video must incorporate the following:
 Introduce yourself (team name is included)
 Include three or more facts about yourself
 Share a little bit about your life

Uniform Wear competition through Photo


 The candidates will be required to wear Uniform attire and will only send a best
shot/photo of them wearing it
 Individual shot is required per candidate, both male and female
 Photo must be submitted 2 days before the first day of the Intramural
 The photo will be uploaded in the Facebook page and will be rated based on the
following criteria:

Eco-Tourism Recyclable Costume through Photo


 The candidates will be required to wear an Eco-Tourism Recyclable attire and will
only send a best shot/photo of them wearing it
 Individual shot is required per candidate, both male and female
 Photo must be submitted 2 days before the first day of the Intramural
 The photo will be uploaded in the Facebook page and will be rated based on the
following criteria:

4. The organizing committee has the right to call the attention of the candidates in cases
of any untoward behavior that would disturbance in the scheduled activity.
5. Candidate’s number shall be provided by the committee.
6. The candidate earning the highest tallied and totaled weight shall be declared as Mr.
DDOSC Top Model and Ms. DDOSC Top Model 2021, respectively.
7. Ranking system shall be used to determine minor awards. Rank 1 is considered as the
highest.
8. The decision of the judges will be the final and irrevocable.

SPOKEN WORD POETRY

1. Each team must have two (2) participants.


2. The spoken word poetry piece must be an original composition in English, Bisaya or
Filipino.
3. The piece must be connected to the theme. Any malicious and offensive words in the
content is strictly prohibited.
4. The piece must be presented through an audio-visual presentation with a time duration
of five (5) to eight (8) minutes.
5. Any use of background sound or music is allowed.
6. Video of the piece must be submitted two days before the scheduled streaming.
7. Failure to comply on the given date of submission will be automatically considered as
disqualified.

VOCAL SOLO

1. Each team must send one (1) participant.


2. The participant must use the same piece given by the committee.
3. The Vocal Solo shall be done via Video Recording.
4. Singing shall be accompanied by a minus one tape or CD. Multiplex shall not be
allowed.
5. Delivery is for 3-5 minutes.
6. The video recording should be submitted to the Head of Committee
7. The 10 percent of the criteria shall be done via Facebook Voting (Like-1pt., Heart-
2pts., Wow-3pts. reaction)
8. Violation from any of the stipulated mechanics is subject to 2 points deductions from
the total score
9. Judge’s decision is final and irrevocable.

INTERPRETATIVE DANCE

1. Each team shall have interpretative dance entry composed of 3-5 participants/dancers.
2. The participant has the freedom to choose his/her music/song to be interpreted.
3. The video shall not exceed to 3 minutes.
4. The submission of entry shall be submitted to the official Head of Committee
5. The videos should be in landscape orientation and at least 640 x 480 resolution.
6. The 10 percent of the criteria shall be done via Facebook Voting (Like-1pt, Heart-
2pts, Wow-3pts reaction)
7. Violation from any of the stipulated mechanics is subject to 2 points deductions from
the total score.
8. The decision of the judges is final and irrevocable.

ZUMBA DANCE CONTEST

1. Each team shall have Zumba Dance entry composed of six (6) to twelve (12)
participants/dancers.
2. Groups are permitted to mix music of their choice.
3. The video/dance must be three (3) minutes but not more than five (5) minutes.
4. Attire may include accessories such hats, caps, gloves, scarves, jewelries, etc.
Removing pieces of clothing during the performance is allowed provided it is not
offensive or out of character. Appropriate clothing should be observed in the
competition.
5. Wearing of facemask and face shield are required.
6. The submission of entry shall be submitted to the official Head of Committee
7. The videos should be in landscape orientation and at least 640 x 480 resolution.
8. The 10 percent of the criteria shall be done via Facebook Voting (Like-1pt, Heart-

1. Open to all bonafide students of DDOSC New Bataan


2. Each team must have two (2) entries.
3. The Tiktok Challenge theme: A Day in My Life: Pandemic Edition
4. The video must be one (1) minute and not more than two (2) minutes.
5. The video must not exhibit malicious actions, nudity, and violence.
6. Any malicious actions, nudity and violence shall be deducted.
7. Videos shall be sent before the said activities.
8. Videos shall be posted on our official page wherein votes (thru wow reaction) shall be
counted.

PROMOTIONAL VLOG CONTEST


1. The contest is open to all bona fide students of DDOSC New Bataan.
2. Each team must have one (1) entry.
3. The video is simply about Tourism Promotion.
4. The vlog should be minimum of seven (5) and maximum of (10) minutes.
5. The videos should be sent a day before the Intramural.
6. Videos shall be posted on our official page only, wherein votes (thru wow reactions)
shall be counted.
7. The decision of the judges will be the final and irrevocable.

K-DRAMA PARODY

1. The contest is open to all bona fide students of DDOSC New Bataan.
2. Each program must have one (1) entry.
3. A minimum of three (3) and a maximum of five (5) participants.
4. The participants will parody a scene from any Korean drama/show.
5. The scene will be presented must not contain any provocative or R-18 material.
6. The video shall be a minimum of two (2) minutes and a maximum of five (5) minutes.
7. The videos should be sent a day before the Intramural.
8. Videos shall be posted on our official page only, wherein votes (thru wow reactions)
shall be counted.
9. The decision of the judges will be the final and irrevocable.

MOBILE LEGENDS TOURNAMENT

1. The tournament is open to all bona fide students of DDOSC New Bataan.
2. Each program shall only have a maximum of 4 teams two (2) for men and two (2) for
women category with 5-6 members each.
3. Each team or entry shall submit the following details to the assigned event committee.

4. Single elimination bases is applied for the tournament.


5. For the Elimination round, there will only be 12 matches.
6. The sequence of the tournament will be based from the number they get by drawing
of lots. Hence, the teams who draw the same number will take the match.
7. There will be only 4 teams for the final round of the tournament.

E. DEFAULTS

For early submission for entries:


Teams that failed to submit entries within the scheduled date and time despite due
notice, shall mark as “No Score” after the committee of the said event consult with the
general committee.

For Mobile Legends Tournament and other live competitions:


Teams that do not appear/ or are not ready to play/or incomplete fifteen minutes
after the last call of the scheduled time of the game despite due notice, shall loss the entry/
game by default after the referee of the said game consult with the general referee of the
meet.

F. DETERMINING THE CHAMPIONSHIP

In determining the Championship, the following shall be observed:
