SECTION 1 – DIRECTED WRITING


You are advised to write between 200 – 300 words.

TASK 1
(1) Five students have been selected to represent your class at the Annual Inter­class general
knowledge competition. You as the leader have been training the team for this programme for
the last two weeks. However, a sudden misunderstanding among the team members has
arisen and you have decided to leave the team. As such, you are neither able to train your
collegues nor you will be able to participate in the competition.

Write a report to the teacher in charge about this situation. Include the following:
● What was the misunderstanding and how you tied to settle it.
● How you have trained the team and suggest someone else to take the leadership.
● How many more training sessions the team needs and what you had planned to do.

Cover all three (03) points above in detail. Make your report informative and apologetic. You
may also add extra details related to the task.
