UCANDAS for Android Quick Guide

This software is for pad and phone or other device with android 4.0 above supporting WiFi.
Screen resolution of pad/phone should be over 720P.
If your VDM supported by Wi-Fi, you need to connect the Internet when starting the program
and download the software; and connect VDM WiFi during the registration and diagnosis.
If your VDM supported by Bluetooth, you do not need to switchover the Internet. You only need
to check the Link under the Setting menu and select the item Bluetooth, and then turn on the
Bluetooth function of phone or pad. Make sure the Bluetooth matching before using the program.
The password is 1234.

Download
You can download this software from Google App or our website www.ucandas.com

Startup
We need to use the storage permission to store the update package in the SD card, so please
allow the access. Or open the storage permission manually. The software will not start without
storage permission.
When the software starts, please make sure to connect to the Internet so that we can check
whether there is necessary update package at present. If so, the software will update
automatically.
Register
For the first use, you must make online registration. Before clicking the register button,
please switch to the Wi Fi of VDM to ensure normal connection to VDM (ignore this step if it is
VDM2 Bluetooth), then fill in the appropriate information and click the button.

After the registration is complete, there is no need to re-register later.


Update
Before clicking the Update button, please switch the network from VDM's WiFi to other Wi
Fi that can connect to the Internet, then click the button (if VDM2 is Bluetooth, please ignore this
step). After the download list is loaded, wait for a while and then select the car makes data to
download, then click the Update button till all the programs are to be updated, then exit the
interface.
Diagnosis
In this interface, you can view the downloaded vehicle data.
Before starting to test the vehicle, please switch to the Wi Fi of VDM (ignore this step if VDM2 is
Bluetooth), and if you enter the function interface (each car make testing interface is different),
you can start to test the vehicle.
If you select the Wi Fi of VDM, but you still can't connect to the Internet, please check the Link
item in the Setting menu to ensure that WiFi is selected. (If your VDM supported by Bluetooth,
please select Bluetooth for connection).
Feedback
If you need to provide the feedback of vehicle testing data, firstly you need to turn on the log
switch, and then test the vehicle again. After the test, please click the Feedback button. Before
clicking the Feedback, please make sure that you have connected the machine to the Internet
correctly.
