How Is A Library Databases Different From A Website

Library databases and websites differ in key ways: Library databases contain fact-checked information from published works written by experts, are easy to cite, and are frequently updated. They are organized to support student research needs. Websites can be written by anyone regardless of expertise, may not provide sufficient citation information, and are not always organized or updated regularly to support research. While both can contain good information, it is important to critically evaluate sources.
