    How do seeds grow into new plants?

    Objective:
    To identify the parts of the plant and its function.

    II. What you need: mongo seeds, container, loose soil, and ruler

    III. What to do:


    1. Spread the mongo seeds in the container with loose soil
    2. Place the box where there is enough air and light
    3. Water the seeds every day.
    4. Observe the setup for seven days
    5. Record your observation in the chart below
    IV. Diagram/Drawing
    Draw the plant. Label the parts and give the functions.

    Roots - absorbs water
    Stem - support the flowers, fruits, and
    leaves.
    Leaves - Makes food and it gives color
    green to the surrounding.
    Flowers - give beauty to the plants and
    makes fruit.
    Fruit - Contains seeds to continue
    reproduction and for food.
