Samples of plastic-sand mixes containing 3% coconut fiber were tested with varying sand particle sizes and compressive strengths were measured. The highest average compressive strength of 16.35 MPa was found for mixes with sand particle size less than 0.42mm. Larger sand particles of 1-2.38mm resulted in lower average compressive strength of 10.25 MPa. Water absorption was also tested, with the largest sand particles showing highest average absorption of 5.03%.
