Laboratory Exercise No. 4

Learning Objectives:
1. Discuss the importance of procurement planning and budgeting.
2. Identify guidelines for the procurement and implementation of infrastructure
projects.
3. Determine the alternative methods of procurement.

Task: Make a video of yourself and address the following concepts. It could be in
English or in Filipino language.

Instructions:

1. Research and review the 2016 Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations of RA
9184.
2. Create a presentation and record yourself for a minimum of 5mins. Briefly discuss the
following guide questions.

 What is the importance of procurement planning and budgeting?


 What are the procedures or stages involved for the procurement and
implementation of contracts for infrastructures?
 What are the alternative methods of procurement? Give example each.
 What are the terms and conditions for the use of alternative methods of
procurement?

3. Submit your output by uploading your video and presentation in your respective folder
under laboratory exercise folder in Google drive.

4. Failing to submit on or before the deadline will mark your outputs late.

5. The due date will be on October 26, 2021, EOB.

Evaluation Criteria:

Learner’s Knowledge 30%


Eloquence 30%
Utilization of time 20%
Voice 20%
TOTAL 100%
