Title :
Study of any cloud architecture and it’s service
provider.

Cloud computing architecture typically consists of a front end


platform, back end platforms, a cloud-based delivery, and a
network infrastructure. We can use a cloud architecture
diagram defines the components as well as the relationships
between them.
The various components of Cloud Architecture are:

Middleware

The main purpose of a Cloud Architecture Diagram is used to


document the Cloud Computing Architecture for facilitating
better communication among stakeholders. Each type of
these Cloud Computing Architecture diagrams can visually
depict the cloud components and the relationships between
them.

Azure Architecture -

Microsoft Azure (formerly Windows Azure) is a cloud


computing service provided by Microsoft for building, testing,
deploying, and managing applications and services. Microsoft
lists hundreds of Azure services, which cover: Compute,
mobile services, storage services, data management, CDN,
IoT, etc.

Like other cloud platforms, Microsoft Azure depends on a


technology called virtualization, which is the emulation of
computer hardware in software. This is made possible by the
fact that most computer hardware works by following a set
of instructions encoded directly into the silicon. By mapping
software instructions to emulate hardware instructions,
virtualized hardware can use software to function like “real”
hardware.

Cloud providers maintain multiple data centers, each one


having hundreds (if not thousands) of physical servers that
execute virtualized hardware for customers. Microsoft Azure
architecture runs on a massive collection of servers and
networking hardware, which, in turn, hosts a complex
collection of applications that control the operation and

configuration of the software and virtualized hardware on


these servers.

This complex orchestration is what makes Azure so powerful.


It ensures that users no longer have to spend their time
maintaining and upgrading computer hardware as Azure
takes care of it all behind the scenes.

Microsoft Azure provides a unique set of shapes and


notations for representing their Cloud Computing
Architecture. Below image represents it :

built-in integration. The cloud-based nature of Azure makes it


innately flexible, allowing you to backup your data in virtually
any programming language, operating system, or location.
Azure also allows you to set backup schedules daily, weekly,
monthly, or whatever schedule you please.

2. Develop and Host Web and Mobile Apps


Azure is an ideal platform for developing, hosting, and
managing web and mobile apps, making them autonomous
and adaptive through features like automatic patch
management, AutoScale, and integration for on-premise
apps.

3. Integration with Active Directory


Microsoft Azure can integrate with your Active Directory,
supplementing your existing access and identity capabilities.
It also gives your DNS improved security, worldwide reach,
and centralized management.

Configuration of Azure Services -

The following diagram is a conceptual data flow for the


interaction between Configuration Manager, Azure AD, and
connected cloud services. This specific example uses the
Cloud Management service, which includes a Windows 10
client, and both server and client apps. The flows for other
services are similar.

1. The Configuration Manager administrator imports or


creates the client and server apps in Azure AD.
2. Configuration Manager Azure AD user discovery method
runs. The site uses the Azure AD server app token to query
Microsoft Graph for user objects.

3. The site stores data about the user objects. For more
information, see Azure AD User Discovery.

4. The Configuration Manager client requests the Azure AD


user token. The client makes the claim using the application
ID of the Azure AD client app, and the server app as the
audience. For more information, see Claims in Azure AD
Security Tokens.

5. The client authenticates with the site by presenting the


Azure AD token to the cloud management gateway and on-
premises HTTPS-enabled management point.

Conclusion :
Thus we studied Microsoft Azure Cloud Architecture and it’s
service provider.
