computer was that all there must detailed documentation with regards to this matter and
transparency was highly given importance.

computer in designing a building is violated?
If the general rule about the uses of a computer in designing a building is violated, there are
corresponding penalties or punishment for National Building Code of the Philippines was made
to be fully conformed.

3. Is using a computer-generated computation efficient when designing a building? Why or why

not?
Yes. It is for the reason that computers are programmed to be able to provide an accurate and
minimal margin of erroneous result. Computers tends to posits these programs that are free from
the manipulation of humans and if we deal on the computation matters, we could infer that
efficiency and precision were very evident.

accordance to the Rule 20 on which it shall be kept in repair and in proper state of preservation.

prescribed.

9. Do you think that the National Building Code of the Philippines should be carefully followed
and familiarized in the field of Civil Engineering only? Why?
No. In my own perspective, I don’t think that the National Building Code of the Philippines
should be carefully followed and familiarized in the field of Civil Engineering only for the reason
that the National Building Code of the Philippines encompasses all specified uniform standards
and requirements that were enforced or must be conformed on a certain building. We are fully
aware that upon the creation a certain project or a building there are several professionals that
were involved not just solely the Civil Engineers but also the Architects, Mechanical Engineers,
Electrical Engineers and many others. In order to be able to achieve the purpose of this code
which was to safeguard life, health, property and public welfare through assuring the quality of
the building, there must be a hand in hand and full coordination among other professionals also.
