I. PRE-ORIENTATION
B. You may now take your seat, pls. pass on the attendance sheet, please write
your name legibly and your contact no.
While others are signing the monitoring sheet, kindly submit all your other
requirements such as certificates and other related documents, so that we can
see your prior knowledge in this training.
By the way, I am now distributing the Data Gathering Tool to further assess
your qualifications and designate you properly to our competency-based facility.
Are you done? The last but not the least is the Pre-Test, don’ worry this will just
measure your previous knowledge and skills so that I will know where to place
you during our formal training.
C. Alright class, I already have the attendance sheet and your documents , may I ask
you to sit back and relax for our formal orientation.

( From the organizational structure locate yourself then START
INTRODUCING YOURSELF....I , the Research and
Dev’t Director of this Institution and the Head of the College Department,
Licensing and Accreditation, I have a masters degree in education and
management and currently taking up my Public administration course..I
have an NCII in FBS and a TM 1 under the National Trainer’s Training
Center)
II. ORIENTATION (During this stage we have to assume that we are speaking with
the students, let us presume that they are going to ask questions while orientation is
going on.)
A. CBT (Place all the 10 Principles of Competency-Based Training, you can flash it
one by one depending on the given directions )
B. Discuss the Trainer’s Role (your role)
C. Share the Role of Trainee
D. The competencies that has to be covered based on TR
(you can mention in passing the basic and common competencies of your
qualification, BUT you have to put emphasize on your CORE COMPETENCIES
and give a short overview of each...)
E. CBLM (Distribute kunwari, while explaining its use)
The competency-based material as you can see consists of the following parts:

7. Self Check Answer Key
8. Operation/Task /Job sheet

“I can assure you that all our workshop areas have a good workshop layout, you
can be assured of your safety and accessibility.
G. Work Shop and its Stations (Explain here the possible activities that can be
conducted per group of students)
1. Learning Resource Area (LRA)
2. Simulation Room (SR)
3. Role Play Area (RPA)
4. Bench work area (BWA)
III. TOUR AROUND the campus just show the area. (9 areas)
The next day:..... “Class I have here a video of different food demonstration wherein
we can get an updated information on food and beverage...”
B. Based from the Recognition of your Prior Learning, you will be grouped into four
(4) (State students names assuming that you have 25 students, and explain what
are they are supposed to do)
1. Learning Resource Area (LRA) 7
2. Simulation Room (SR) 6
3. Role Play Area (RPA) 6
4. Bench work area (BWA) 6
After assigning the students you can now go around per station that you have
chosen and provide the following:
1. Guide students in doing the activities of the session (LRA)
2. Provide feedback on the ongoing activities (SR)
3. Provide remedial activities ...for practice...(slow learners present)
(RPA)
4. Record achievement of trainees (AC/PC) ...you can now
advance to the next competency (BWA)
Good day my dear trainees, today is the last day of our training and I want to tell you
that everybody did a good job as far as your oral questioning, demonstration and my
observation are concern!
However, since we had conducted a pre-test before the start, today we are going to
take the post-test to see if you can improve your score based from the different
knowledge and skill that you had gained and learned during our training.
The trainer will collect the test papers and check it right away.
Alright trainees here are the results of your post-test and it shows that most of you
got a higher scores compared to your pre-test, it means that you were able to
inculcate in your minds what you had learned from this training. I’m so happy from
this results.
Nevertheless, based from the overall results of each one of you, not all of you will be
assessed this November 6 , 2013. I am going to give you a slip of paper and those
who can receive a blank one will mean not yet qualified for assessment.
Lastly, before we parted ways with your honesty kindly answer our Training
Evaluation Form, to measure how did your training and trainer were being
conducted. And that will help us to improve more.
