Subject: Free online training programme for teachers on ‘Holistic Assessment’ in

collaboration with Google.

Assessment is a continuous process of understanding every student’s growth,

development and progress with respect to their individualized learning goals; to assess the
individual strengths and challenges; to analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of learning
methods and learning environment. It should always be viewed as an integral part of the
learning process and should involve both the facilitator and the learners. Opportunities
should be provided to learners to reflect on their learning and also provide constructive
feedback to peers.
Keeping in mind, the objectives mentioned above, a series of webinars is being
organized by CBSE. The theme of these sessions would be defining assessment by
elaborating on the topics of learning goals and learning objectives and distinction between
them. This will be followed by discussion on strategies for involvement of students in defining
learning objectives. Guidelines for creating rubrics to achieve the target of authentic
assessment and strategies for self and peer assessment for constructive feedback shall also
be discussed in detail. The roadmap for using reflection as an assessment tool will also be
explored.
This programme consists of four webinars of two hours’ duration each, followed by
MCQ Quiz. Webinars are scheduled as per details given below:

 Join the webinar by clicking on the respective link given in the table above. There is
no need for registration.
 Course material and assessment shall be available in respective Google classrooms.

 Link of the classrooms on the above domain shall be changed when one Cohort is
filled.
 Participants are advised to join only one Cohort and use the available current link at
the time of joining.
 Participants can join the classroom and assessment by using their
@cbsedigitaledu.in ID only
 Board has shared teachers’ IDs with the schools through the CBSE Centers of
Excellence. Teachers, who did not receive cbsedigitaledu.in ID, can contact the
concerned Centre of Excellence through their school. Individual requests will not be
entertained.
 E-Certificate shall be awarded to the participants on successful completion of
assessment.
 Assessment Link in the respective classroom will be available for the participants
from 5.00 pm, 01/11/2021.
 Participants are advised to fill the assessment form with utmost care. One participant
can submit the assessment only once.
 Spelling of the Name and email ID should be checked twice while submitting the
assessment form. Any mistake will be reflected in the certificate.
 Participants can download their certificates from 30/11/2021 onwards from CBSE
Training Portal https://cbseit.in/cbse/training
 The medium of course material and assessment will be English only.

In order to get optimal advantage, Principals and Teachers of all the schools affiliated to the
