To transfer data to Mksmart using SFTP, follow these steps: 1. Provide your global IP address to Mksmart. 2. Generate an RSA key pair using Puttygen and send the public key to Mksmart. Save the private key for use in WinSCP. 3. Configure WinSCP to connect to Mksmart's SFTP server using the private key for authentication rather than a password. Transfer files as needed.

Manual to use sftp.

To establish a data connection to Mksmart, please follow the steps below:

Step 1: Provide your global IP address to send data to Mksmart.

Step 2: Key generation to use SFTP using Puttygen.


 Open to this link: https://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/latest.html to
download load “Puttygen” scroll down to find the file as shown in below image.

Click here to download the file


for windows 32-bit or 64-bit

 Run the program after downloaded.


Click here to run the puttygen

 Choose RSA and click “Generate”.

 After click generate you need to move the mouse around the blank area.
Move the mouse around this area until
the loading bar is 100%.

 After finished generate the Key, Save the “Public Key” and “Private Key” to use later
in WinSCP.
- The Private key will use to input to your WinSCP later.
- The Puclic key you need to send to MKsmart.
Click “Save….” Then choose the
destination folder you want to save the
file.

To save input File name and choose destination folder.

Step 3: Configuraton WinSCP to transfer data using SFTP


 Open WinSCP or another software for using SFTP to connect MKSMART SFTP Server,
Step by step choose like the red maked in WinSCP shown in below image:
- Choose New Site.
- In Protocol choose SFTP
- In Hostname key in vpn.mksmart.com.vn
- In Port Number choose 22
- In Username input Username for SFTP that MKSMART provided for you before.For the
Password you don't need to input because MKSMART SFTP authentication base on pair
of key (public key) not by Password.

Choose Advanced… to config Private key of your company as shown in below image:
Browse the path
to your Private
Key

 You can save this configuation for next time use by click "Save" and input infomation in
"Site name" to save it like below image.

 To connect click to the site name then click Login or doule click for connect to
MKSMART SFTP Server.
 After successfully login, a window will show as below image.You can use to tranfer file
to MKSMART SFTP Server.
