Process Manual - Candidates

Online Remote Proctored Examinations

By:
Pre-Requisite before start of test:

• Candidate appearing for Remote Proctor Exam must ensure the


following -
• Desktop/Laptop
• Active internet connection: 4G
• Min available data pack of 500 MB for exam duration
• Working integrated web camera and microphone
• You need to login 30 minutes before the start of the Examination.
This is to ensure for verification of your Identity and to complete other
formalities before permitting you to write the Examination.
Downloading the Exam App
• Open the URL provided for Exam App in any browser to download it.
• After successfully download, Launch the app setup.
• Enable/Check Camera & Microphone privacy settings in your device after
installation as shown in below picture.
Home Page:
• Launch the Exam App.
• You will see the Instructions page.
• Please read the instructions carefully.
• Ensure all set up is done as per the instructions.
• Click on ‘Continue’
Login Page :

• Please enter the User Name and Password as given in your


admit card/email for the exam
• Click on ‘Login’
Confirmation for next stage:
Click on ‘Continue’ button:
Photo Upload Instructions:
• Set of Instructions will be displayed to upload your photo and ID card.
• Read it carefully and click on ‘Got it’ button:

• Set of Instructions will be displayed to upload your photo and ID card.
• Click on ‘Click’ button.
• On screen 2 , you will see the picture clicked by you, if it is OK click on ‘Save and Next’, otherwise click on ‘Click again’
button.

ID Card Upload:
• Now you will be asked to upload image of your ID card
• Follow the steps as shown in image below to upload your ID card image.
• Only official govt. photo ID is allowed
• Again you have the option to Click again, if previously captured photo is not clear.
• Click on ‘Save and Next’ once you see that clicked photo of ID card is clear.
Confirmation for Photo and ID Card Upload :
• Now you will be asked to Confirm the uploaded images of your Photo and ID card
• If the preview seems OK, You can click on Confirm button and proceed.
• Otherwise click on Previous button and click and upload your Photo and ID Card again.
Authorization :
• After your confirmation, Your screen will wait for authorization (see image below)
• You will have to wait for some time before you are authorized by the Proctor and your exam starts.
• Once you are authorized and proctor/invigilator is assigned to you, you will redirected to the exam instructions screen.
Exam Instructions :
• You will be taken to the exam instructions screen
• Please read the instructions before proceeding.
• Click on the checkbox (1) as shown in image below to accept the declaration and wait for the exam start time.
• Once the exam start time(11 AM) is reached, click on ‘GOT IT’ (2) to start the exam.

End Exam :
• When you have completed the Exam, you may click on ‘Submit Exam’ button.
• You will see a summary of the questions attempted by you.
• To review the answers, you may click ‘Go back’.
• Click on ‘Submit the Test’ to finally submit your exam.
• Once exam is submitted, you can not login again and change your answers.

Final Submission
• Once you click on the ‘Submit the Test’ Button, it will show you a message to wait till recording is being saved.
• Once data is saved for test, a final Thanking window will appear on your screen
Important Guidelines
• In case you get disconnected from exam for any reason, you have to wait for 2 minutes for login again. System will
allow you to log in after 2 Minutes Only.
• Don’t panic your last answer response is saved.
• The Camera and MIC should not to be covered with any article during the entire duration, In case of your face is
not visible, system will not allow you to continue
• You are requested to keep attention on chat window (with proctor/ invigilator) provided in exam screen.
• Once you click and confirm End Exam, you will not able to resume again hence ensure you had completed and
answered the questions as mentioned in exam instruction page.
• The option of “MARK OF REVIEW” which is available in the portal is to be ignored as it will not be having any
effect and the questions marked for review cannot be visited.

Instructions for the Demo test:


• Demo test is mandatory and will be of 30 minutes duration, which is basically to give you a feel of the CET scenario.
• It is intended to familiarize the students with the examination environment and validate the compatibility of their
Desktop/Laptop.
• You can attempt the mock test only once with the shared credentials in the e-Admit card
• Important: You can login into Mock exam on dates 25/08/2021 & 26/08/2021 between 11 AM to 6 PM.
• There will not be any human proctor available for the mock test, however it is to be noted that there will be a
human proctors for the final CET.
Note : The details mentioned here is not exhaustive and only for indicative purpose.
