Instruction: Answer each of the following questions in three to five sentences. (30
points)

WORK ETHICS
What is your general understanding of ethics in the workplace?
I will consider ethics in the workplace functions as a moral code that defines an
employee's behavior and determines what is right and wrong when making
decisions. Ethical workplace decision-making helps determine both for the self-
interest of the individual worker and the self-interests of others who are influenced.
In this last part of the definition, individual workers more often find it difficult to
operate ethically.
How can you be retained and succeed in your job?
I can retain my job if I follow proper ethics, such as learning how much your
manager expects in your capabilities. Knowing and understanding the culture of
your company. Maintain a positive attitude, perform your duties in a professional
way, and ensure a steady daily attendance.

SAFETY IN THE WORKPLACE

What is the importance of safety in the workplace?
If appropriate workplace safety precautions weren't in employees' practices, a
company and its employees, customers, brand reputation, and revenues are all
compromised. Inability to educate employees on how and where to maintain a safe
workplace could perhaps lead towards on accidents, injuries, and, in the worst-case
scenario, fatal accidents. Furthermore, accidents have financial ramifications for
such serious injuries, their relatives, as well as the company. By complying to safe
working practices, the company can reduce large financial implications from
accidents. The savings made can be applied to more financially viable projects.
How can you ensure safety in the workplace?
Employee badges, electronic doors, illuminated walkways, and security cameras
are just a few of the things they can help you with to ensure workplace security.
Security is a major component of safety, and security professionals can assist you
in reducing violent attacks and theft. They will setup and check your security
equipment. They might also be able to help you with employee testing protocols
like drug tests and reference checking.

RESPONSIBILITIES IN THE WORKPLACE

What are the general responsibilities of employees in the workplace?
The general responsibilities of the employees include acting appropriately and
respectfully towards their coworkers, along with maintaining
employees' health and safety in part to prevent spreading viruses and other
illnesses to their fellow workers.

Why it is important for employees to do their responsibilities in the workplace?

Employees' responsibility is important because failing to fulfill their
responsibilities and duties has a negative impact on the performance of the
company. Furthermore, it proves your professionalism, enables you to improve
your skills, helps you develop professional relationships with coworkers, and
demonstrates to corporate management that you really are a high performer.
Employees who already are accountable work to advance the company's growth
and strive to do an excellent work on a regular basis.

CONFIDENTIALITY IN THE WORKPLACE

Why is confidentiality important?
Confidentiality, or indeed the determination to hold some information private, is
essential in a wide range of professions. Confidentiality is essential for legitimate
and reputational purposes, including for career opportunities.
How can you ensure data privacy or confidentiality in the workplace?
Several countries passed laws that ensure the secrecy of certain employment data.
Employee trust, confidence, and loyalty can all be compromised if confidential
employee and management information is made public. As an outcome of which,
there will often be a loss in production.

CONFLICT RESOLUTION
How can conflicts be resolved in the workplace?
Workplace conflicts happen all the time, and neglecting these may be disastrous.
To handle disagreement effectively, you had to be a competent communicator.
This entails motivating employees to talk about work issues and creating an open
communication atmosphere in your unit. Attention to employee concerns will aid
in the creation of a more transparent working environment. You may guarantee
that you fully understand whatever employees are stating by posing questions and
concentrating on their perspectives of the situation.
Why is it important to resolve conflicts in the workplace?
Disregarding conflict resolution issues can have a negative impact on the
company's reputation. So if situation was resolved well, it leads to a number of
benefits, such as the attainment of goals and the formation of relationships. If
conflict is not handled right, it may progress quickly into general dislike and even
lead to partnership destruction.
