Objective of the Study

The objective of this study is to develop the library system of STI San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan
that will store the student’s records such as the student’s basic information, list of borrowers, book
records, borrowed books, returned books, and the authorization of the librarian.

Specific Objectives

 To create a system that will help students, teachers and librarians to process the borrowing and
returning of books in effective and efficient way.
 To create a system that will efficiently view the book.
 To provide a system that is user-friendly.
 To create a system that will monitor and update the books in the library.
 To create a computer-based library system that will manage the library database.

Scope and Limitations

The said system that the researchers will create is about the development of the library of STI
San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan. The proposed system will be computerized which it includes the storing,
organizing and generating files. This project focuses on the processes involved in keeping tracks of the
books in the library system such as to record all the books that was borrowed and returned. The system
inputs are the student’s id number and the book they wanted to borrow. The output of this system is
the student’s information and the information about the borrowed book and the due date of the book.
The study limits the system within STI San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan. The proposed system is not capable
of sharing its data from other database.

Significance of the Study

This section will provide what benefits they will get form the study. This study will benefits the
following:

Librarians

This study will help them to lessen their time and effort for searching, recording and updating
library database.
Student and Teachers

This study will benefits the students and teachers of STI San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan by
providing them a quick and easy access of library resources.

School

-School is the main focus of this study because the proposed system once it was implemented, it
will help the school library to be more effective and efficient than before. This proposed computerized
library system will provide a quick and easily access for students and school staffs of all the library
resources.

Proponents

This study can be beneficial for the proponents by expanding the programming knowledge and
logical encouragement. This study can be the opportunity for the proponents to check and prove their
skills in programming. The proponents will ensure that the proposed system that they make can be a
greater help for the user’s needs.

Future Researchers

This study could also be beneficial to those who want to conduct a related study. The
information and data collected form this study can be a basis for the future researchers.
