Many students come from schools where they have studied all their subjects in English and yet their written work
abounds with grammatical errors. The best solution to this problem is to isolate the most frequently occurring
Rationale of the grammatical errors, then frame exercises and drill the students in the correct forms. The most frequently occurring
Program grammatical error in the written work of my students is the error concerned with subject-verb agreement. This
remedial program enables one to master the different subject agreement rules. A remedial instruction and strategic
intervention material is to be provided.
At the end of this remedial instruction program, the client will be able to master the rules in subject-verb
General Objectives agreement. The program enables the client to improve his/her writing and grammatical skills through the different
activities and series of lectures given.

(2000) states that the sentences created by words and phrases are the essential blocks of meaning that allow us to
communicate thoughts. In order to achieve the success of the implementation of the program, strategic intervention
material, worksheets and lectures are utilized.
The client comes from Bacarra National Comprehensive High School. She is a Grade VII student of the said
Nature of Client school. According to her, she doesn’t know the different subject-verb agreement thus she wants to learn more
about it. She is eager to learn and improve her skills in constructing correct sentences.
