At a rapid pace (noun) – quickly

Skyscrapers (noun) - a very tall modern building, usually in a city

Fast-paced (adjective) - happening very quickly

1. Do you like the city you are living in now?

Definitely, Danang city is a charming city, a fantastic blend of old and new. Although it’s quite
hectic, I love the liveliness of it. Apart from this, I think it’s exciting since it is developing at a
rapid pace (quickly). Like any other cities, it has its own drawbacks but I enjoy living here.

2. Which city have you been to recently?

As you know, due to the Covid- 19, I haven't been able to travel for a long time. I just took a
trip to Singapore last year and I was amazed at how clean and green it is. Spotless streets,
amazing architecture, diverse culture, it has something for everyone.

3. Do you prefer the city or the countryside?

I would say I’m definitely a city person. I mean, life is so exciting here. There’s always something
going on so I never get bored in this place. Moreover, I enjoy the hustle and bustle (craziness) of
city life, along with the endless opportunities to meet new people from all over.

4. What kinds of city do you like?

I love small cities with unique traditional culture and a strong sense of community. I won’t move to
a modern metropolis, unless my work requires so. Moreover, I require a city with friendly people
and smiles. I couldn't live in fast-paced, robotic (people moving so fast that they don't have any
expression).

5. Which city do you want to go to?

If I have the chance to visit one famous place, it will be Paris, a must-see place to me. I would love
to visit the Eiffel Tower, to tuck into French restaurants. In addition, it’d be great for me to visit the
Louver Museum and discover history as well as the oldest educational institution in modern France.
I can’t wait to discover this part of the world.
6. Have you ever lived in the countryside?

Yes, actually I pay a visit to rural areas on a monthly basis in order to get closer to nature and
enjoy the fresh air there. In fact, this activity is a great way for me to recharge my batteries after a
hard-working month.

7. What do you like to do in the countryside?

People usually think there’s not much to do in the countryside, but that’s not the case at all. Some of the
things I quite enjoy doing whenever I find myself in the countryside are feeding the animals, going long
walk and stargazing. But honestly, I think the best thing to do in the countryside is to do nothing at all;
just relax and enjoy the leisurely pace of life.

8. What do people living in the countryside like to do?

It seems to me that people who live in the countryside enjoy very simple activities such as growing

crops, feeding animals for their living and cooking food. They also often spend quality time with
family, or walk in nature to enjoy the breathtaking sceneries. There’s not much to do in the
evenings but I imagine people like to stay up late with friends, listening to music and chewing the fat
over a beer or two.
