TITLE OF MICROPROJECT

" CRIME FILE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM "

1.0 AIM/ BENEFITS OF THE MICRO-PROJECT:-

The crime control management system should be applied to police stations all
across the country and specifically looks into the subject crime prevention, crime detection,
crime conviction of criminals depending on a highly responsive backbone of information
management . The efficiency of the police and the effectiveness with which it tackles crime
depend on what quality of information it can derive from its existing records and how fast it
can have access to it.

2.0 COURSE OUTCOMES ADDRESSED :-

 Outcomes :-

 Students will critically apply fundamental criminology and criminal justice


principles to situations related to crime, criminal justice, and related areas of
practice.
 Students will effectively communicate in writing and speaking in the presentation
of ideas and their application to issue and situations related to criminology and
criminal justice
 Using care concepts from criminologixal theory, students will conduct a research
study creating suitable research questions, methodology, and analysis to draw
valid , ethical, empirically based conclusions .
 Students will apply research outcomes to hypothetical or real case study
situations in the practice of criminlology and criminal justice
 Students will develop and apply a personal understanding of diversity and the way
it impacts work in criminology and criminal justice
 Students willl apply key principles in criminal justice attics to analyze real life and
hypothetical decisions making situations in the practice of criminals justice

3.0 PROPOSED METHODOLOGY:-

 Authentication module: The first module is the authentication module using this
module station in charge, admin can get login into the website . Based on the role,
the page will be navigated.
 Registration: This module helps to register them with the application.
Registration is mandatory since it is required for them to view and add crime
details. The user needs to select a username and password at the time of registration
and the user name will be unique.

TITLE OF MICROPROJECT

" CRIME FILE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM "

1.0 RATIONALE:-

The software to be produced is on " Crime File management system


" . The main authority is given to the admin. He provides unique username
and password for each employee through which the user can login and
perform the activities given by the admin. As soon as a new employee join
the company. The admin has the right to add his employee details which
includes name date of birth, basic salary , etc . Admin assigns tasks to each
employee next is the payroll module. The system automatically generates
salary for each employee depending on their work days, their work status
including , adding their basic salary for the overtime work they have done.

5.0 ACTUAL METHODOLOGY FOLLOWED

The model uesd for this project in the crime file management system of software
development . This model follows a sequential order which ensures that a phase is
completed before either phase begins. This system model emphasize planning in early
stages , is used in projects where all the system requirements are known and in addition ,
it's intensive documentation and planning make it work well for projects in which quality
control is a major concern

 Requirements analysis: This phase entails gathering of requirements from user of the
system

PROJECT:-

 The digital tool to be developed is the criminal database system, which


will automate the main information about a crime .
 The first sub system is the criminal information system which can keep
records of workers salaries and attendance
9.0 APPLICATION OF THE MICRO-PROJECT:

 Prisoners details: The details of the Prisoners like name, crime


committed , number of years of punishment and many information
can be provided through this application
 Security: since data is directly entered into the system , security is
provided to the data entered
