NARRATIVE REPORT ON SUMMARY OF ACTIVITIES OF


DRRM DURING BRIGADA ESKWELA
Disaster preparedness of schools is an important factor to achieve resilience in our
communities. DepEd, through the 2021 Brigada Eskwela, seeks to mainstream disaster
preparedness principles in readying schools for the opening of classes.

The following are list of activities conducted by the Telbang National High School
DRRM during the brigade Eskwela:
 Information dissimenation about Covid-19 thru social media
 Repairing of minor classroom damages
 Installing appropriate and available fire suppression
 Clearing of drainage to prevent clogging
 Preparing evacuation/exit plan
 Pruning of trees to avoid entanglement from electrical wirings and avoid potential
harm to life and property;
 Replacing of signages such as No Face Mask, Face Shield No Entry, Observe
Social Distancing, and Proper Handwashing;
 Posting of Information posters and safety health protocols
 Posting of directory emergency contact numbers
 Creating database of learners with contact details
 Repainting of physical distance markers (one meter or 6 feet away)
 Repairing of triage area or isolation area;
 Disinfection of school buildings and classrooms through spraying of disinfectant;
 Procured Alcohol dispenser, face mask, face shield, disinfectant solution, hygiene
kits through stakeholders’ donations
 Repainting of alcohol stand and handwashing facility
 Distribution of learning kits to the students and
 Distribution of Covid-19 PFA module and activity sheets in support of Mental
Health Program of DepEd; and
