Testing opportunities
10th Grade:
● Pre-ACT - This test is currently administered for free to all second year students.
● PSAT - Students can choose to take this test. It usually takes place in October at WKHS for a
small fee.

11th Grade:
● ACT/SAT - These tests are currently administered for free to all third year
students in the Spring of 11th grade. Students will choose one of these tests to
take for free.
● Career Readiness Tests - If offered, these tests are administered for free to all
third year students in the Spring of 11th grade.
● ASVAB - Military battery test. Usually offered for free two times per year at
WKHS. Must be 17 years or older to take the test.
○ See 1st Sgt for more details.

12th Grade:
● Students can choose to retake the ACT and/or the SAT
for college admission.

COLLEGE ATHLETES
○ If you are planning to participate in college level
athletics, you MUST register with the NCAA Eligibility
Center.
○ Registration is on-line at eligibilitycenter.org
○ Register NOW. Registration requires submitting your
transcript.
○ See your coach or Coach Pelham for more information.
December is Course Request Month!
● Students will receive information for completing the course request process.

● Current 10th and 11th Grade Students will complete a Google form to enter
their course requests during Impact in December

● Current 9th Grade Students will complete their course request registration
during their IGP Conferences.

● Students and parents will be given a list of available courses before they
complete their Google form.

● Desired classes do not always fit in the actual students’ schedules and


sometimes there is not enough school-wide interest to keep the course.

● Students will be given a list of their course requests in the spring to finalize
their courses for the 2021-2022 year.
