PERFORMANCE TASK  

IN ENGLISH 2
PERFORMANCE STANDARD:  Demonstrate grammatical awareness by being able to read speak and write correctly

SITUATION: Grade 2 pupils need to read a short passage or story to share their knowledge about the passage or story

GOAL: The goal is to read a short passage or story in front of the class. Demonstrate proper pronunciation and diction of the words.

ROLE:  Grade 2 pupils as “story teller”

PRODUCT:  Poetry Reading

AUDIENCE:   Students              

STANDARDS:  Grade 2 pupils are expected to read a short passage. Your performance will be judged by the rubrics below.

The library is a great place to visit for help with
school work, and for fun. You can go to your library.

you like to read fiction, your librarian can suggest
adventure books, fantasy books and much more.
