Narrative Report in Radio Broadcasting

One of the trainings in our Campus Journalism 2021 is Radio Broadcasting. We

aim to increase the awareness and participation of our young journalists into
this kind of field.

The training began at exactly 1 p.m. on August 18, 2021 via Google meet and
finished at 2:30 p.m. The session started with a prayer led by Mr. John
Benedict Cruz, followed by a Nationalistic Song accompanied by an audio-
visual display. Following that, we conduct an attendance check with 19
participants. Ms. Julie Ann A. Pahilagmago and Mr. John Benedict Cruz are the
trainers for the day.

We started the training proper with a discussion about the Basic Rules in Radio
Broadcasting. The flow of discussion was simple but enthusiastic. We showed
two examples of Radio Broadcasting – English and Filipino which gave a lot of
motivation to our participants. After the discussion, Mr. John Benedict Cruz led
the workshop. Our workshop's goal is to determine whether or not our
participants can read and apply the basic rules that have been presented. And,
thankfully, we are pleased that our young journalists are able to follow what
has been given to them.

We concluded the session with fresh insights not just for our young journalists,
but also for the trainers.
