Description of water effect:

The water ripple effect is very subtle in

nature. It is created on the surface of a pool
of water resembling ripples when a droplet of
water falls into a calm reflective pool. By
pushing a well-defined amount of water with
appropriate speed through a 5mm ring
nozzle opening, it creates inbound and
outbound concentric waves. As the waves
move further away from the area of
emission, they gradually lose definition as
they lose energy moving across the water
surface,

The ripples generated vary in diameter

depending on the size of the ring, which it is
emitted from. The frequency at which the
ripples are being emitted can also be
controlled to create varying speeds for the
concentric wave’s patterns. This can be
programmed to create different sequences
for the water display.

Architectural specification for integration:

There are special requirements for the integration of the water ripple generator in order for the feature to be
appreciated in its optimal state. The source of the ripples should be concealed in a very specific way to
ensure that they are not obtrusive or obvious visually.
The pool finishes are defined to ensure the water effect is able to achieve its maximum visual impact for
appreciation, and should be conceived integral and not independent of the final product.

• Pool to be built with infinity/vanishing edge on all sides

• System to be finished and flushed evenly with a circular top cover in similar material to pool finishes.
• Water level over nozzle should be 6-7mm max.
• Water level tolerance across pool surface/edge to be 1-3mm max.
• Pool finishes recommended to be black/dark, reflective surface with black grouting

We recommend a site analysis of the pool area prior to implementation as lighting conditions may have
impact on the final display
