Safety is at the forefront of everything we do. We


have an excellent safety record and actively fund and
promote a safety behavioural change programme with
our colleagues and subcontractors which has made
a significant contribution to the group’s safety culture.

From the CEO to our colleagues on the front line, safety is


everyone’s responsibility and is the key part of our commitment
to the responsible development running through all our activities.

Our absolute commitment to safety and the environment shows


through management leadership and the positive behavioural safety
culture demonstrated by our people, showing that safety is integral
to everything that we do.

We are proud of our achievement and the safety behaviours


shown by our colleagues. A continuous effort is put into maintaining
this excellent safety performance, with a high emphasis placed
on staff training, competence and assessment. We ensure our
staff are offered training in all areas of safety compliance and
work collaboratively with our supply chain to improve safety
on all our sites.

We have actively funded and promoted a safety behavioural change


programme since 2008, which has made a significant contribution
to the group’s safety culture.

for our customers, we formed a collaboration group between our
internal Health & Safety and IT teams to develop an effective and
convenient way of tracking and recording close calls to reduce safety
