03 Duct Insulation Installation

This inspection checklist is for duct insulation of HVAC ductwork systems at King Faisal Air Academy Majmaa in the Royal Saudi Air Force. A DUCT INSULATION
General: Section 15250
A.1 Insulate all air-conditioning supply and fresh Part 3
air ductwork. Refer approved materials. Clause 3.03

The return ducts shall be insulated where Section 15250


A.2 passing through a non-airconditioned area or Part 3
ceiling space not used as return air plenum. Clause 3.03

Insulation shall be installed as per insulation Section 15250


A.3 manufacturer’s instructions and SMACNA Part 3
standards. Clause 3.03

All surfaces shall be tested, cleaned, Section 15250
