Step-by-step Walkthrough
By Atarun
The Warlock of Firetop Mountain is a video game adaptation of the gamebook by the
same name. As in the gamebook, there are many ways to win in this game and way more
ways to lose. Here is a step-by-step guide to beating the game with Alexandra of
Blacksand. I'll probably add other characters later on.

Read this first
This guide gives you a step-by-step path through the Firetop Mountain, all the way
to the Warlock Zagor.
The path is littered with fights and Skill/Luck tests that you might fail, but the
guide assumes you win them all. In some cases, you might be able to fail a test and
keep going all the way to the end anyway.
The only surefire way to reach Zagor is to use Free Read Mode: a cheating mode you
can activate by talking with Oriana the SoulKeeper at the beginning of a new game.
In this mode, you will be able to pick a "Free Choice" instead of actually fighting
or testing your Skill/Luck. You will also sometimes be able to unlock options even
though you do not possess the required object. Unfortunately, you will only earn
souls from Zagor's treasure (whereas you normally earn some with every fight) and
you will unlock no achievements.
To save some space, this guide will not mention fake choices where you are given
only one option or all but one option are locked.
Every time this guide mentions a Bench, it means that you have three options in
game:
If you don't want to save and your stamina is full, ignore the bench.
If you want to save that checkpoint and/or you have around 5 stamina points to
regain, simply sit down on the bench.
If you have closer to 10 stamina points to regain (or even more), then eat some
of your provisions while you sit on the bench.
Zagor's Keys spawn randomly in the dungeon. You need at least one to open Zagor's
chest and get his treasure and you might find at most three in a playthrough. When
the guide mentions a "Zagor's Key spawn point", it means either I saw a key spawn
there on one of my playthrough or the place is mentioned in this helpful discussion
thread started by LoreDeluxe:
http://steamcommunity.com/app/324740/discussions/0/343788552547845189/
Unfortunately, there is no way to force a key to spawn, not even in Free Read Mode.
With all those caveats out of the way, I wish you good luck and great fun on your
journey, adventurer!
Alexandra of Blacksand part 1
Note that this guide is very specifically for the character Alexandra of Blacksand.
It will not work well for other characters because they will sometimes get
completely different choices in the dungeon.
The guide is split in two to stay below the character limit of a section.
Dungeon entrance
Turn east
Duck inside the cleft to hide
Jump out and surprise what lurks in the corridor
Fight the ORCS (+5 gold pieces)
Leave the bone charm with the corpse
Head down the east path
Attempt to kick the door down instead
Climb into the pit
Enter the cave to the left
Take the Giant Aardwolf meat (+ Giant Aardwolf meat)
Investigate the other cave
Survey the murky cave
Fight the MONSTERS (Zagor’s Key spawn point)
Orc barracks
Dwarven halls
River bank
Here I cannot give you a simple step-by-step, because the maze is randomly
generated every playthrough...
Here is what you need to know (all else you need is real life luck):
I have no way to tell in what order you will stumble upon the following rooms (and
maybe I have yet to stumble upon them all), but here is my advice for each of them:
Caged goblin: leave him alone until you have the Minotaur's shard and the
handle to get him down, then kill him, get his shard and get out of the maze.
Dead Ogre's wake: ask the orc what is wrong, give him some gold and he will
give you the handle necessary to lower the goblin's cage.
Minotaur: you have to fight him to get a crystal shard (and maybe a Zagor's
Key)
Ghostly hands: there are 2 rooms like this in the maze. One of them will let
you run through unharmed, the other will hurt your stamina and force you to fight
the hands anyway.
Giant rats: nothing to do here but fight the rats.
Statue of Sindla: the statue holds a genie you can try to release by making a
wish... it will fail no matter what you ask for, so you can ignore it or have fun
asking for something different each time.
Another thing to note is that Oriana will force you to save between the two levels
of the maze and give you 10 stamina.
The second level maze is as random as the first, but much gentler.
You start in the room of the Maze master. Demand that he answers your questions and
he will give you a 1-dot skull and ask you for a 400 scroll.
The procedure is pretty simple, though it requires exploring the maze randomly:
Find the door with the same number of dots as your current skull
Open the door with your current skull
Behind the door, if you find another skull, go to step 1, if you find the 400
scroll, go to step 4
Go back to the Maze master and give him the 400 scroll
One thing to note: somewhere in the maze, you might run into Mathos the Fool. If
you give him 3 gold pieces and trust him, he will change your current skull by
painting dots on it. This might get you to the scroll much faster (it did on all my
playthroughs so far).
Also, the pit is a lie. Do not walk around it.
The End
Bench
Follow the passageway
Drink a Potion of Fire Protection (- Potion of Fire Protection)
Use Di Maggio’s Dragonfire spell (req. Dragonfire Spell, Zagor’s Key spawn
point)
Stride confidently down the hallway
Fight the SKELETON GUARDS
Knock on the door and enter, greeting the old man courteously
Test Your Skill
Hold out the Eye of the Cyclops to Zagor
Congratulations! You have beaten the Warlock of Firetop Mountain, exactly as Kith
told you to.
Now you can use the Zagor's Keys you found on the chest and decide whether to
become the next warlock or go back to Kith and move on.

FYI I followed this guide to the letter and only found one key. There must be a
room or two extra to explore.

also, talking to boathouse skeletons you can convince them you're thei new
boss..with a "skin" condition - allows to skip the fight, gets Nyeh heh heh
achievement

2nd maze - "roleplayers" seem to just kill you - stairs are bad, light is bad

Lynette seems like hard core mode.
She will not sneak and prefers to attack all goblins.
She will not do the fire spell book room.
She has a great rejuvination strike though that offers healing

Thanks. Very helpful.
As Lynette, the first eastern corridor hidden alcove orc attack , the treasure was
a silver bell, then in the cave with slime monster, also another silver bell.
Wow , and past the dogs the very first save point she goes unconcious, and wakes up
in front of a fool who gives a quest to collect....... 50 silver bells.
You go unconcious again and wake up in an Orc storeroom.
Strange how Orcs now all have silver cow bells around their necks.

Character Specific Quest Guide
By holdmykidney
This is an in-depth guide to the character-specific quests and Achievements in The
Warlock of Firetop Mountain. There are many spoilers ahead.
Since unlocking the later characters on the PC version requires a good number of
souls, I've kept the guide brief by assuming a reasonable familiarity with the
Mountain's major locations and decision gates, but do let me know if any of the
directions are unclear.

Lunika Ekaadi's Quest
Lunika Ekaadi's quest is to recover the Amulet of Ashra.
This quest is unmissable as the key navigation choices will be forced upon you.
After speaking to the panicked acolyte you will head west towards the school, so be
sure to ask the acolyte about the school to pick up the password for the Hungry
Doors.
It's also worth ducking in to the troll's room (north) before going to the school,
as the Bull Amulet can be traded with the Master of Air for a magic ring, which
bypasses a skill test and a 3HP loss a bit later.
As you travel through the school, head into the Master of Air's chamber if you want
to trade the Bull Amulet (North-East Corner Door). After this room, Lunika will
notice the door with the fire symbol and head to it. After fighting the
salamanders, the Master of Fire will give you the amulet freely - but it is a fake.
As you leave you will be knocked unconscious and dumped in the river. If you have
the magic ring, you can sink into the water and breathe safely and you will end up
on the north shore of the underground river.
Lunika's quest culminates with the Warlock himself and if you defeat him, you will
gain the amulet and unlock the Achievement "Ashra The Ever-Living." Having the
Amulet also reveals a bonus Zagor Key on the floor of the treasure chamber.
Dekion Strom's Quest
Dekion Strom's Quest is to recover a stolen locket from a Goblin Jailer.
There are lots of goblins who will hint that they know the location of your target,
but finding him requires a bit of navigation. After the bridge fight out of the
goblin prison, head west at the passage and speak to the acolyte, asking about the
School of Magic and gaining the password to get safely through the hungry door. You
can either head through the school of magic or veer west to cirumvent it. Either
way you will end up on a bank of the river with stepping stones across it. Use the
stepping stone to cross. Thankfully, Dekion has Agility, which means you can cross
the stones without needing a skill test.
In the cave on the other side of the river is a dead Dwarf. Exploring the hole will
uncover a second chest full of goodies. As you leave the cave, you will encounter
your target. Kill him to recover your locket and gain the achievement "Losers
Weepers."
Alexandra of Blacksand's Quest
Alexandra of Blacksand's quest is to recover the Eye of the Cyclops.
Along the way, Alexandra has an extra specific achievement, "BLACKSAAND!" Alexandra
is something of an adventuring celebrity within Firetop Mountain and many creatures
you encounter will know her. One of these is the Cook, who is angry at Alexandra
for leaving him stranded away from Firetop Mountain. All that you need to do is
meet the cook while playing as Alexandra. The kitchens are east from the skull
symbol on the ground after the first set of corridors, before you enter the goblin
cells. Go through the east door to confront the cook.
After the goblin bridge out of the barracks (pulling the right lever), head east
and over the collapsing bridge. Go through the Dwarven Halls as usual and head
east, then to the wooden door at the end of the eastern passage.
Try to take the jewel and the Cyclops statue will come to life. Once you defeat it,
you will take the jewel and unlock the Achievement "Eye Don't Believe It!"
The jewel is also used to escape the hypnotic paintings of Zagor. One route which
works is to speak to the dwarf, then take the option to hold up the jewel.
Once you find yourself in Zagor's study, you have the chance to hold up the jewel.
This insta-kills Zagor with no need for a boss battle and you will receive the
achievement "Dust to Dust."
Arran Gottspeed's Quest
Arran Gottspeed's quest is to slay the Minotaur within Firetop Mountain.
This quest will automatically happen if you simply progress far enough in a run-
through as Arran Gottspeed as long as you do not skip the maze using the Maze
Jumper potion. Defeating the minotaur is a required part of completing the first
section of the maze and will trigger the achievement "Minotriumphant."
However, as part of Arran's plot text, he keeps track of the number of kills he
makes throughout his quest. At the end of my successful run, Arran stated that he
did not feel he had killed enough enemies. I need to experiment with this character
more to see if a better ending can be unlocked.
Wanushu's Quest
Wanushu's Quest is to capture the Giant Spider.
This quest is missable, in terms of the Giant Spider and the achievement, although
Wanushu is one of the only characters (tbc) who has a little bit of gameplay after
defeating Zagor. Whether you miss the spider, or subdue it but decide to continue
your adventure without leaving the mountain, the Dragon makes a great alternative
prize and there are options to impress your master with a bigger catch. It's only a
pity Wanushu doesn't also have an achievement for returning with the Dragon.
To find your quest, there are actually two ways into the spider-infested mines. If
you are simply heading for the target, the simplest approach is to turn right after
the goblin barracks, north past the bench and west into the mine. You will meet two
goblins who you can either fight or bypass by agreeing to kill spiders for them. DO
NOT take the western passage, this is an insta-death. Investigating the goblin in
the web will trigger a battle with skeletons, but will provide a potion. Head
North-East to the big web, where Wanushu will sense the presence of the Giant
Spider. You can try on the boots, unlocking the achievement "No Place Like Home,"
although these boots are cursed (-1 skill for the fight with the Giant Spider) and
I found after this I was forced to continue my quest, rather than having the option
to leave. If you choose "continue exploring" there is no negative outcome. Either
way the Giant Spider will appear. Defeat it to earn the achievement "Eensy-Weensy."
From here you may continue your journey to Zagor or leave with your prize.
After the river crossing, do as you please on the beach, but make sure you head
into the domain of the dead directly north from the beach. If you choose the tower
to the west you will miss her specific challenge. After the fight on the bridge,
you can go in any direction as long as you make sure to travel through the room
with the pool. The safest route is straight up the ladder through the room with the
zombies.
Fill the Chalice with blood from the pool to gain the Achievement "I'll Get It!".
Head up the steps (North). Avoid examining the coffins unless you have the Stake
and Mallet to deal with the vampire. Leave through the opening and travel down into
the tomb. Light the braziers as instructed by Gerlekus Zagor and you will get the
Achievement "Father Knows Best". The mirror demon will appear and you must fight.
Only one of the creatures is the real demon and once you slay it, the rest will
disappear. Krea will seal the mirror with blood and yoru quest will be essentially
complete.
However, assuming you do not simply leave the mountain, your master will be very
pleased to receive Zagor's spell book and the chalice full of blood, so on your way
out, do not pour the blood into the Stone Demon.
Hannabella Dehab's Quest
Hannabella Dehab's Quest is to find the Dwarven icon of Verlang.
This was a really tricky quest to uncover, because the direction of the target room
- containing a table with two helms - is in the opposite direction to the
information needed to unlock it. However once you unlock the secret to opening the
table, you are given a free backtrack which enables you to find your way.
To begin with, head into the School of Magic, by heading west after the Orc
Barracks and getting the door password from the Acolyte by asking about the school.
Inside the school corridors, be sure to head east into the school proper. Go to the
first Master's room and fight the stone hands. He will be angry, but he will tell
you that the Master of Water knows about the Icon.
Head west down the corridor and then north. You can talk to the wizard in the
library if you want to play his game, but do not accept the offer to backtrack back
to the dwarven halls. After the room with the Stars/Hands (step on the stars) go
west and open the door there. The Master of Water can be bribed to give you
information about the icon. Make a note of what he tells you (I took a Steam
screenshot) and after speaking with him, you will find yourself back at the bridge
just before the dwarf halls.
At the cross-roads, go west. In the dining hall, taking either the crucifix or the
chalice will trigger a fight with skeletons. Don't worry about the stairs with
Hannabella, just leave north, then examine the passage east before heading on. In
that room is the table with two helms.
Examine the table itself, then follow the instructions you had been given to open
the table. On my quest it was Press Left Button. Slide Right Button. Tap Three
Times. (Having played it again without visiting the Master of Water, the sequence
was exactly the same. Possibly this challenge is not random).
This will gain you the Icon of Verlang and complete Hannabella's quest, triggering
the Achievement "Allansia Icon."
Afterward, if you wish, you can try on the Iron Helmet for +1 skill.
Landov Lowan's Quest
Landov Lowan's quest is to recover a book on demonology.
The book is not a difficult quest, but it does require some accurate navigation to
find. It's in the room with the Fish fountain north-west of the room with the
screaming sounds.
Due to the route to the book, there are two items you may need to pick up in the
Orc Barracks:
* The stone from the Dwarf's boot in the Orc torture room (1st Door on the Left).
This rune will allow you to deactivate the giant Dwarf statues without a dice test.
* You may or may not pickup the Blue Candle from the cell containing the slime
beast (2nd door on the right). Lighting this enables you to overcome the screaming
in the room before the Fountain, allowing you to choose the north-west door
(succumbing to the screaming forces you to the north-east door, missing the quest
item). However as Landov you can just pray in the screaming room, which acts the
same as lighting the candle. (Thanks to Virtual_K____SP2 for this detail).
Go east after the Orc Barracks, over the bridge to the Dwarf Halls. Head west at
the crossroads with the cave-in, through the room with the Dwarven statues. In the
room with the two doors, overcome the screaming noise and choose the north-west
door.
Examine the bookshelves and you will descover the book you are seeking and unlock
the achievement "A Bit of Fright Reading," completing Landov's quest. Although
unlike many of the adventurers, you are not given the option to leave the mountain
early - Landov wishes to confront Zagor!
Gilfane's Quest
Gilfane's Quest is to speak with the Master of Air in the School of Elemental Magic
This is a fun little quest, combat heavy, which provides a few surprises for those
familiar with the mountain.
Firstly, be warned that entering the kitchen (with the pot) as Gilfane will result
in an automatic -1 skill, owing to his revulsion at Orc food. If you must suffer
this, be sure to get Gilfane's skill back up, because you're going to need that
initial skill value for fighting.
Enter the school of magic as usual, going west after the Orc Barracks and speaking
with the acolyte to get the door password. Go east at the first intersection to
enter the school and when you arrive, it appears that everyone will be out. Enter
the first room (Master of Earth) and claim the book. Head through the school and
just before you leave you will be confronted by the master of air, triggering the
achievement "Shooting the Breeze." If you have the book from the Master of Earth's
room, Vincenta will give you a FREE Maze Jumper potion.
Vincenta agrees that the elemental masters will help you defeat Zagor. Progress
through the rest of the game as normal. However when you arrive in the chequered
hall with the Skeleton Statues, the masters will all be assembled and wish to stop
you. Curse their sudden but inevitable betrayal!
First, the Master of Fire will teleport you to his study to fight the Salamanders.
Secondly, the Master of Earth will teleport you to his study to fight the Stone
Hands. After this the Masters will all fight you. This isn't so bad because the
Masters are evasive and Gilfane excels at fighting adjacent and distant enemies.
Remember that the knock-back ability can cause a bonus damage point if the target
is knocked back into an object.
As if that weren't enough, having beaten the Masters you still have to fight the
Skeleton guards and Zagor (no option to use the Bull Amulet or pick up the Cyclops'
Eye).
After the beach, head into the Domain of the Dead by choosing the large structure
to the North. Do not choose the tower to the west, or you will miss Twenty Three's
quest.
Cross the bridge, killing the ghosts, then head west and up to face the wall with
the warping shapes. You will be confronted by the restless souls from one of Twenty
Three's past battles. Win the battle to complete Twenty Three's quest and gain the
"Jeepers Creepers" achievement.
Alfina Skyrider's Quest
Alfina Skyrider's Quest is ostensibly to find Malacandrus...
However Malacandrus is a macguffin and trying to find him will only lead you to
frustration. Even the school of magic is a red herring.
Instead, head west past the school of magic and either fight or evade the troll. Do
not use the cheese on the rats! You must fight them to get the option to go east.
Here you will meet a student of alchemy who has caused an accident. Accept the key
and ask more questions.
Instead of asking about Malacandrus, ask if she knows anything about a cure for the
Pegasi, then press her for why she knows so much about your tribe. This will unlock
Alfina's complete storyline and the acvievement "Fess Up."
An interesting quest which opens up some new gameplay styles, owing to the fact
that Ellion is a half-orc, so she gets lots of new dialogue choices in Orc
encounters!
Stop into the room with the drunk orcs if you want to join in with their drinking
and get the Dragonfire spell without killing them.
You can have a conversation with the armourer, east of the Orc Training hall to
find out information about Grishak's whereabouts, although this still leads to a
fight them for the gold stash.
Head into the kitchens (east from the skull symbol, before the end of the Orc
barracks) to join in with the feasting orcs and unlock the achievement "My
Favourite!" You can also converse with the Orc cook instead of fighting and you
will essentially be told that Grishak is in the room next to the Dragon. If you
want to search the pot as a possible Zagor key location, you will have to fight the
cook. I let him go for being helpful.
Before leaving the barracks, you can also search the weapons room with the cresent
shield to equip it and gain a +1 skill over your initial value - certainly helps
balance Ellion's low starting skill of 8. And if you want to rescue the prisoner
for the +1 luck, have no fear. I assumed that he would react the same way to other
adventurers dressed as an orc but he does not. Similarly, you have to fight the
bridge guard, you can't sweet-talk them.
The rest of the Mountain plays out as normal and if you wish and can afford it, you
can use a Maze Jumper without fear of missing Ellion's plot. Note that the
skeletons in the boathouse will auto-attack, taking you for one of Zagor's guard -
you have no speech option with them.
One you get past the maze, you have the option of entering Grishak's room! Finally
there is a way of opening this door which does not result in decapitation! I spoke
to Grishak and said I wanted to know who he is to unlock the Achievment "That's
Impossible!" Attacking Grishak also provides the Achievement (thanks to
Virtual_K____SP2 for checking).
After confronting Grishak, you can either leave the mountain or continue on to
fight Zagor - for this character neither choice makes a huge difference to the
ending story, apart from disappointing the villagers.
This quest is very different from the others, not down to Lynette's quest - which
is easy enough - but because after reaching the first bench, Lynette falls
unconscious and is abducted by the jester in the library, who tasks her with
finding 50 silver bells to give to the fool Mathos, who can be found in the maze.
I've made a list of the locations I found bells on a successful run with 61 bells,
although I picked up an extra 4 from somewhere I didn't read, but if you follow my
route you'll have plenty.
Before the abduction, you can go right at the first crossing and fight the goblins
for 1 bell and the slime beast for another bell. Bear in mind though that the
ringing bell will wake the sleeping guard and you do not necessarily need these
bells to succeed.
Orc Barracks
Note that Lynette can equip the crescent shield in the weapons room (2nd door on
left) for +1 skill above her initial value. You might consider it worth fighting
the slime beast (2nd door on right) for the blue candle as you will need to
negotiate the screaming voices room to get to the quest goal, however it is not
required as Lynette has her own means of overcoming this obstacle.
There are a couple of bells which can be obtained by going west after the Orc
Barracks and looping through the mine, but finding the bells involves searching the
Goblin corpse and fighting the skeletons, which incurs a -1 skill penalty.
Dwarven ruins
Go east after the Orc Barracks
(2) After the bench, travel all the way north to fight the bloodwing: 22/50
(5) Dwarven hall: 27/50
(2) Dwarf statues (west at cave-in T-junction): 29/50
At this point you will encounter the room with the screaming. You can light the
Blue Candle, if you have it, but Lynette can say a prayer to overcome the noise,
gaining +1 luck. Take the right-hand door (north-east) to enter the room with
Durevendil's Statue.
Try to take the warhammer. you will feel an immediate bonus. Then say a prayer and
you will release the warhammer names "Durevendil's Grudge." Not only that, but you
will gain an additional phrase which acts as a one-shot kill of Zagor. You will
also unlock the achievement "Holding a Grudge." I have no idea how she carries that
Hammer either.
The River
(3) Banquet hall, fight the surprise skeletons: 32/50 (optional crucifix or
silver chalice)
(4) As you approach the shack west of the beach: 36/50
(3) Go up the ladder and fight the zombies. Search the body: 39/50 (choose the
bells, plus optional crucifix)
(5) Go north up the stairs and examine the coffins: 44/50
(4) Go up the stairs, in the demon statue bowl: 48/50
(5) Go straight ahead (east) and fight the hellhound: 53/50
(4) Examine the corpses and fight the ghouls: 57/50
As you can see there is a bit of lee-way for missing a few. Searching the coffins
might be dangerous if you don't have the pre-requisites to deal with the vampire
(Crucifix/Stake and Mallet).
Lynette doesn't gain enough gold for a maze-jumper potion, but we want to go into
the maze anyway. Complete the first maze as usual. In the second maze, make sure
you encounter Mathos before returning the scroll to the mazemaster. Mathos is not
pleased that you have brought bells - it was a practical joke! However you will
gain a bonus +20 souls for completing the task.
Getting to Zagor is now a bit of a slog, as Lynette cannot pick up either the
Dragonfire Spell or the Bull Amulet, so you must fight the Dragon and the Skeleton
Hallway. However you now have your "grudge" prayer will which defeat Zagor without
a fight.
Lin Wen-Wu's Quest
Lin Wen-Wu's quest is to kill Grishak the orc and reclaim his stolen family sword,
Jian.
A fairly straightforward quest, but a with a few twists and unexpected changes to
the mountain.
You can wake and interrogate the sleeping Orc Guard. He will tell you that Grishak
is inspecting the prisons. The Orc barracks is largely unchanged, so pick up
whichever items along the way you wish. Don't worry too much about gold, for
reasons which will become clear.
When you get to the prison, all of the door are barred and Grishak is waiting at
the bridge!
Defeat him and he will survive and run away through the gate. Use the right level
to pursue and follow Grishak's blood trail east. He will confront you again,
chugging down Strength potions to stay alive. Defeat him and he will set the Stone
Golems against you (n.b. this is a tricky battle. Do not let the statues maneuver
you into a corner and bear in mind they move and attack horizontally only).
At the T-Junction with the cave-in, the blood trail will lead you west. Avoid the
statues' gaze to avoid a fight and head west into the room with the screaming. Even
though you haven't picked up the blue candle, Lin Wen-Wu has one in his backpack,
so feel free to use it and take your pick of the two exits.
At the eventual river edge, Grishak will face you again. This time his body will
fall into the water, still alive, but you will gain Grishak's hoard of 163 gold
coins!
Head to the end of the game however you please. I bought every potion in the shop,
used the western tower to avoid the domain of the dead and bolstered that route
using a luck potion. I used a Maze Jumper to skip to the end.
Before the Dragon cave, we have the option to get through that mysterious door! Lin
Wen-Wu is the only character so far (DLC still to be released) who can enter this
room. (The other being Ellion) Confront Grishak for the last time and you will
unlock the Achievement "For Honor!"
You may then leave or confront Zagor as you wish, but Lin Wen-Wu's family are most
impressed if he returns having defeated Zagor.
Malleus Malleus' Quest
Malleus Malleus' Quest is to be rid of Lycanthropy (Werewolf curse).
Malleus' quest can be fairly straightforward, but there are a few things to watch
out for. Firstly, do not touch anything made of silver. The Silver Bow and the
altar with the silver pile of treasure to search through will only do you harm.
(todo - see what happens to Malleus when you place his weapon on the altar).
When you fight the Orcs at the exit to the barracks, you will transform into a
werewolf. This changes Malleus' attacks for this battle. The Werewolf has a unique
set of attacks:
Front Attack
A single strike directly in front.
Right Attack
A single strike to the right.
Pounce
Leap onto up to two enemies at once, pressing them back.
Frenzy
In a feral rage, Malleus abandons all defences to slash hard with both claws at
adjacent enemies (taking -1 Stamina damage).
After the fight, your animal form will force you to race through the mountain and
you will skip a few options, becoming human again on the other side of the
collapsed bridge before the dwarven halls.
Malleus' foe is the old man with the dog in the hut to the west, after you have
crossed the river. There are two options here. Your enemy will try to convince you
that you can be cured of your condition with Zagor's magic book. Or, you can choose
to kill him anyway. You must choose to kill him to cure Malleus and gain the
achievement. His claims about Zagor's book are a lie. For this fight you will be
transformed into a werewolf again. But once you win, you will revert to human form
instantly and you will have the achievement "Team Malleus."
If you decide not to fight him, you can progress as normal and fight Zagor as the
Werewolf! After claiming the Souls from the jar, you will return back to the
waterfront where you can read about Malleus terrible fate...
Ophelia Lapwing's Quest (Goblin DLC)
Ophelia Lapwing's Quest is to find information about the disease ravaging her home
country.
Fireball
A heavy attack to one side.
Flame Lance
Attack two spaces directly ahead.
Flame Aura
Attack in a circle all around.
During the Goblin Village, it really doesn't matter which navigation choices you
make. Don't bother with the Brown Powder sidequest, as Ophelia will go full Ghost
Rider anyway and charge the Goblins to trigger the sub-boss fight, joined by the
Baby Dragon.
When you leave the Goblin Village, GO NORTH. This is the entrance to the School of
Elemental Magic. Don't miss it. You don't have the password, so you'll have to tank
the damage from the Hungry Doors. Go right (east) at the T-Shirt and Robin of Orme
(The Master of Earth) is behind the first door you encounter. Fight the Stone Hands
and ask about the sickness to trigger the achievement "Groundbreaking News." After
this, Ophelia realises she needs to complete the mountain and face Zagor. The rest
of the game should be fairly familiar, except for the moments when Ophelia
transforms and travels on automatic.

Arran Gottspeed's quest has a better ending than that shown in this guide if you
kill the minotaur, defeat Zagor, and get over 100 kills.

Vignor Firestorm: kill Zagor. Its easy, Vignor is big and strong. (I killed Zagor
in his giant form, to get the cheese-achi.)

Haldar Eriksson (Goblin Scourge DLC): get back your sword from the goblins. Quest
ended when I killed Scarclaw. After that you can go and kill Zagor as a secondary
objective...

Any update on when you're going to add to your wonderful guide? I just bought the
Goblin Scourge DLC today, and I'd like to know how best to complete the quests for
the new characters.:hercules_is_happy:

Nice tip Melusca! When I get a chance to update this guide I'll be sure to include
it.

You don't need to go to the School of Magic with Hannabella. If you go to the
Paintings Room past the Dwarven Halls, you can ask the crazy Dwarf here about the
combination to the secret stash. It will then allow you to backtrack to the Dwarven
Halls and grab the Idol. It's also a good idea to grab the Eye of the Cyclops while
doing this, since it means either an instant win against Zagor or 20 gold towards a
Maze Jumper.
holdmykidney [author] 19 Dec, 2017 @ 1:50pm
Interesting jbrasida! Thanks for that info, I'll check it out!

The Rope can be used to Cross the Chasm north of the bridge, on the rest point
side. You arrive at the pont you can go west in the Grand Dwarven Hall (Where you
find the Forest of Doom Map), if you take the wide bridge east.

Introduction
Hello and I hope you are having fun playing this awesome game!
If you're having difficulties navigating the game events and you don't have the
time (or patience) to write down the places you've been and the things you've
seen... well, I'm here to help.
In this short, yet hopefully helpful guide, I'll lay down some basic knowledge
about the game and share the link to the map I've made which you can follow step by
step to know your whereabouts and to choose the best possible path for you.
Game Basics
In this game you choose an adventurer (with the corresponding Skill, Stamina and
Luck stat), point and click the direction you want to go, read (if you want to) the
outcome of your choice and repeat. Sometimes you'll get to roll dice for a good or
bad outcome and frequently you'll get in combats.
Combat is pretty straightforward, you have your attacks, which are shown in the
hero card in the beginning of the game and when you open your inventory and
navigate the tabs, along with any special effects they may have (some are close
range, some are medium range and some are long range) and the damage you'll do is
the circled number shown. Both you and your opponents move and attack at the same
time. If you hit the monster at the same time he hits you, you'll have a clash
(explained bellow). The goal is to predict where the enemy will be (or attack) and
act accordingly.
For the combat you and your opponents will use Skill and Stamina. When the Stamina
reaches 0, the target dies. Skill is used for clashes. When both targets attack
each other, dices will appear on the screen. When you roll them, the numbers will
be added to your Skill number and whoever has the highest will land the attack. You
can see the enemies Skill and Stamina stats by placing the cursor above them.
Pro tip: You can reroll the dices if you click them BEFORE one of the dices stops.
This is pretty useful when you see one of them slowly landing on that "1".
Aside from the fights, you'll use your Skill stat for some dice rolls in scripted
events. This is the same about Luck. The difference is that either succeeding or
failing in a Luck roll will result in that stat going down by one point.
Some traps or bad choices will reduce you Skill, Stamina (if it reaches 0, you die)
or Luck stat by 1 or more.
Besides that, each hero has special habilities (or disabilities), called
"Attributes" that makes them even more unique in how they play and how they react
to some events. I won't list them all here but if you're going for one or two
playthroughs I highly recommend using a hero that has Keen Eye. It's the most
powerful Attribute in the game BY FAR. With it you'll gain more items and avoid
more traps. The second best would be Dexterous which makes you avoid some dice
rolls. The rest is okay at best and some are bad.
Usually there is a balance between Attributes, stats and attack patterns as to not
make an adventurer too overpowered.
The way I see this game, after many hours playing it is that high Stamina isn't
that important. You'll have plenty of opportunities to heal, save and even
resurrect your hero (up to 3 times) and after you learn the monster's paterns
you'll not take that much damage in fights.
The focus (if you're not going to play all the heros like I did, at least) is to
get one with a Skill stat with 9 or more. 8 is okayish, but you risk losing too
many clashes and 7 is VERY bad. 10 or even 11 makes winning clashes easy.
The same numbers apply to Luck, but you'll be using it way less (and not in
combats) so it's not that important.
Some heroes (won't spoil which) can improve their Skill during the adventure in
some events (won't spoil which also).
Lastly, you unlock new heroes by using "souls", which you'll acquire by defeating
enemies, so it's always good to enter battles when you can. Zagor Keys also give
souls, but only if you win the game by defeating the warlock. Each key gives you 50
souls (maximum of 3).
Alchemy (minor spoilers)
In a particular part of the map you might gain "Vials", which, in turn, can be used
somewhere in the mountain to breed potions (once per adventure).

She might sell you different items depending on your hero (on rare occasions), and
it'll probably be around 25 Gold Pieces. I only listed the items she'll always
sell.
Maze (minor spoilers)
The Maze is a part of the map that is mandatory for you to enter in order to reach
the final boss. You may skip it entirely if you have the item "Maze Jumper". Some
achievements (and quests) require you to enter the Maze. A new Maze will be
randomly generated each time you enter it (even if you die and resurrect).
Since it's random I couldn't make a map of it so I'll just list here the enemies
and items you'll encounter there.
Maze level 1:
How to complete: find the grieving Orc and get the Goblin cage "handle" from him.
Kill the Minotaur for the first "crystal" and the Goblin for the second "crystal".
Maze level 2:
Mathos x3-5 (he's optional and the number depends on doing an event before)
In the level 2, you'll see a group of people playing D&D, if you choose anything
other than "Round Table", you'll die. The bottle options are as follows:
How to complete: Get your 1 red dot skull, go to the corresponding door, get your 4
red dot skull (find the 4 red dot door), then 3 red dot (and so on), then 2 red dot
(and so forth), then 6 red dot, then 5 red dot skull (which will have the scroll
you'll need to get out of the Maze).
Here it goes:
Black Glove (summons 2 more enemies to aid Zagor) -> 13 Skill and 12 Stamina
Cards (Weakened Zagor) -> 13 Skill and 8-10 Stamina
Redwood Stick (nothing happens) -> 13 Skill and 12 Stamina
Potion of Invisibility (Half Blind Zagor) -> 7-8 Skill and 12 Stamina
Silver Bow (nothing happens) -> 13 Skill and 12 Stamina
Cheese (Giant Zagor) -> 13 Skill and 14 Stamina
Eye of the Cyclops -> Instant Kills Zagor
Y-Shaped Stick (nothing happens) -> 13 Skill and 12 Stamina
Direct Attack -> 13 Skill and 12 Stamina
After you win the battle, you might get a Zagor Key. They are used to open his
special treasure and they award you with souls (50 for each key you may have).
After the spoils of battle, it's time to relax reading your quest finale or
transform yourself into the new boss of Firetop Mountain.
Map Navigation
FIrst of all, there are more items, events and things to discover than I've laid
out in the map. It's not complete in every detail possible because that'd take too
much time and make the map layout too hard to make on a spreadsheet. Just so you
know, here are a list of things that ARE NOT marked:
Achievements -> there are other guides for this and, honestly, I didn't want to
spoil everything. Some things are better if you work a little for them
Special items -> these are items that only appear to one or two adventurers,
some even specific for their quest
Random events -> some places in which things may happen if you make the "right"
choice
Item usage -> places where you use the items you gathered around the mountain
Also, it is important to note that even the things that ARE indeed marked are not
going to always happen. For example, you might see a place with a lot of enemies,
but you might face only one of them. Or none. It all depends on your choices, the
hero you're using, your items... What I have marked is everything of interest
(aside from the list above) in each location. Whether or not you'll find all of
those you'll discover by playing.
And that's it. I'm pretty sure you'll get the hang of it after 10 or so minutes and
hopefully it'll help you out. I know it helped me a lot to navigate Firetop
Mountain!
Map Link
Since the map got too big for a simple image file (without losing the possibility
to zoom in and out) I had to make it in an Excel spreadsheet.
Since it's Excel, if you use Google Spreadsheet it'll probably mess up the map
lines. It's not the end of the world but if you want it to be detailed you better
download it and open with Excel.
If enough people ask me I might make a Google Spreadsheet version and provide both
links.
Anyway, here's the link to it, any problems you guys let me know:

Closing
That's it, folks! English isn't my native language so I'm sorry if there are
spelling or gramatical errors.
If you have any questions, know a place I didn't mark, something important that
should've been marked, guide errors or just want to say something you feel you
should (both good or bad), feel free to do so in the comments and I'll try to
answer ASAP.

Hey I just want to thank you for this information - I'm actually running the game
(using your resources) in a D&D campaign adapting things into the system as I go
along. This guide made that campaign possible and my players are having a lot of
fun. I'd long wanted an actual map of the video game and I slowly started to do
that in a notebook, but I gave up halfway.

The Good
----------
Wilkins: Wilkins is a tall older man who is built like a brick wall. He
protects Stonebridge from the Orcs and when you first arrive in town he will
teach you how to fight. In his youth Wilkins was a tough adventurer, but one
day he realized that his dream of healthy exercise, public respect and living
whitout too much work can be best achieved by working for the common good in a
public function.
Tweedle: There are several Tweedles that live within Firetop Mountain and They
offer a wide variety of goods that will help you on your quest. The Tweedles
have a single goal, and that is total trade monopoly and between their low
prices and cut throat marketing the Tweedles have killed the competition,
literally...
Thelonius Manintown: Thelonius is the Dwarf that arrives on the boat with you,
though this is not his first time here. Like most dwarves he doesn't like boats
as you can tell from his green face when you get there. He's a prospector by
trade and believes that Firetop Mountain still has something to give, even if
others don't think so.
Oaffer Goodnessake: Poor sod, Oaffer has spent his whole life looking for the
fabled treasure of Firetop Mountain and has found nothing, despite repeated
attempts and even coming face to face with the Warlock a few times. But the
mountain seems to beat him everytime...
Weaeselnose: Weaeselnose is the son of the former high priest who sees him as
a failure and disgrace for choosing to be a peddler instead of taking over as
the next high priest. You see him a few times on your travels, if you see him
you should stop and see what he has to offer.
Orlinn: Orlinn is a gambler who lives in the keep and gambles with whoever
passes by, whether it's Orc, Human, Dwarf or even the Warlock himself, all are
welcome to lose their gold at his game of dice.
Mizar: Mizar is a dwarf that lives in the workshop, he's good friends with
Thelonius Manintown who sends you to find him when you're there. He has a
grudge with the Orcs for taking his home and kills them whenever he gets the
chance.
Hobbler: Hobbler is one of the leaders of the Dwarves and an old friend of
Weaeselnose. He is a good man and is always thinking of others, that is why he
is the greatest of all the leaders.
Bartholomew: Bartholomew lives in the basement of the keep near one of the
temples. Like most dwarves he has a love for his hammer and enjoys a good peace
of lamb. Bartholomew believes that he can forge a mythical weapon that will
help him and the other dwarves take back the mountain, although others, such as
Mizar, think he's just crazy.
Mr. Strawman: Mr. Strawman can take a lot of abuse, but that doesn't mean he
has no feelings, he's just the silent type. Be careful though, if you get too
close you might get hurt.
Caleb The Monk: Caleb is the only monk left that tends to the temple in
Stonebridge. He reminds travelers to stop and pray at the temples in the
mountain or else they will lose any progress that they have.
Og: Og is one of the very few Orcs in the keep who will not try to kill you, I
guess loneliness does that to you. Og did horrible things when he worked for
Zagor and Giles, but he has changed and will even sell you his goods and tell
you about the Warlock.
Livingstone: Livingstone is the high priest of the keep and war leader of all
the Dwarves. He is a level headed Dwarf that talks in third person. He believes
that in another year or two that he and his people will be able to take back
the mountain from the Defiler.
Nobbler: Nobbler is a Dwarf that lives in the stronghold and he's one of the
only Dwarves that will not try to kill you on sight. Nobbler doesn't care who
you are so long as you don't stink of Orc and will even offer his wares to you.
Despite being a strong Dwarf he seems to hate rats, the black ones especially.
Dwarf Hero: He is the hero of the dwarves and is both strong and brave. He
helps protects the Human settlements and the Dwarf fortress from the Undead,
but his people are tired and can't keep fighting them forever.
Gorrin Briarbeard: Gorrin Briarbeard guards the gate into the dwarves fortress
He is constantly on the look out for spies sent by the Warlock or Giles, who he
thinks stinks to high heaven.
Oliphant: Oliphant is the keeper of the state seal, he lives in a secret room
near the trophy room in the upper keep. He has a mental illnesses and only has
a few moments of clarity at a time.
Frutz: Frutz is one of the dwarves that lives in the Maze. He lives with Fritz
and the two of them are always up for a game of dice. Frutz says that Fritz is
a lier and you can trust him
Fritz: Fritz is one of the dwarves that lives in the Maze. He lives with Frutz
and the two of them are always up for a game of dice. Fritz says that Frutz is
a lier and you can trust him
The Bad
---------
Zagor The Warlock: Ah yes, Zagor, little is known of him. Some say he's
elderly and others say young, that he has one arm, or was that one eye? either
way people believe he is powerful beyond measure and has a treasure the size of
the mountain it's kept in.
Max Pain: Max Pain is the torturer that lives in the torture chamber. He likes
to give "Gifts" and teach stupid Dwarves not to get in the way, so that other
Dwarves learn not to get in the way.
Klugg: Klugg is the warden of the keeps prison and a savage Orc on top of that
He takes great pleasure in causing pain and can usually be found in the cells
or the torture chamber, but despite his brutish exterior he can be a coward and
run when someone bigger than him shows up.
Zhug Orc Chieftain: Being the chieftain of the Orcs, Zhug is one of the
strongest and evilest of them. He enjoys gambling and beating his servant Peon
near to death.
Peon: Peon is the servant of Zhug, but he would kill his master in a second...
if his back didn't go out. Although he is quick to cower, he never misses a
chance to get what he wants. He knows a great deal about the keep and it's
inhabitants and will tell you what you need to know, if you can put up with him
long enough.
Giles: Giles is the librarian at the keep, but don't let that fool you. He
desires knowledge and that gives him great power, which is why he gets along
with Zagor, though that is not to say that they are friends.
RubbleRat: RubbleRat was chosen by Zagor to guard the way depper into the
mountain, though not for his strength but his lack of brains. Because of an
enchantment placed on him he is invisible, not even the Orc chieftain Zhug
would face him in battle.
Drunken Orc: This Orc is so drunk that he can't even tell you're Human, but
don't let your guard down, drunken fools can't feel pain. You can find him in
the dinning room looking for more wine.
Sleeping Orc: This Orc is such a weakling that he's not even allowed into the
mountain, he has been sent to guard a misbegotten dump at the entrance.
Minotaur: Minotaur lives in the Maze Of Zagor and watches over it. All that
live in the Maze are half-starved and eat anything that walks by. The Warlock
ignores them so Minotaur is the lord of the Maze.

\ / \__/
When you start a new game you must first make a new character, the character
you make is always male, what you can change is his abilities and attributes.
When you start a new game you will be asked several questions, depending on how
you answer these questions determines what kind of character you get. If you
don't like what you get you can redo the questions or customize your own. There
are three different characters you can get by answering the questions, if you
pick all of the top questions you will get the Scholar class, if you pick all
of the middle questions you will get the Mercenary class and if you pick all of
the bottom questions you will get the Assassin class. Besides the name there is
nothing special about them except that you get preset equipment, abilities and
attributes, which is:
Assassin: Skill-5, Sta-1, Int-1, Luck-1, Poison Weapon-5, Wooden Bow, Worn
Leather Vest, Potion of Healing, Speed Potion x2, 73 Gold.
Scholar: Int-5, Sta-1, Skill-1, Luck-1, Elemental-5, Wooden Staff, Shabby Robe
Potion of Healing, Mesmeric Potion x2, 75 Gold.
With custom you pick what attributes and abilities you want, go to the
abilities part of the guide to see what thay are and look below for the
attributes.

| | | | | |
| | |_______________________________________| | |
|_|______\| |/______|_|
(_) (_)
Attributes
------------
There are four attributes in the game: skill, stamina, intuition and luck. The
more stamina you have the more health you will have. The higher your skill is
the higher you agility will be as well as the critical strike chance. Intuition
determines the strength of your magic power and defense as well as how much
magic points you have, and luck affects everything you do by a little. Your
attributs will increase when you get a level, but they can also increase or
decrease depending on what armor you"re wearing.
Leveling Up
-------------
When you gain a level you will get one point in abilities and attributes, you
gain levels by killing enemies and completing quests. Every time you gain a
level the top screen will flash and an icon will appear at the top right of the
bottom screen, tap this icon to open a menu, here you can increase your
abilities and attributes by one point each. If you don't increase anything and
just keep fighting, don't worry your points will not go anywhere.
How To Fight
--------------
How you fight depends on what you have. To attack press the L, R or quick
buttons. Melee weapons such as swords and axes are used physically, where bows
and magic are projectiles. If you use a bow there will be a red cross in the
middle of the screen, this shows where the arrow will hit when it's fired,
magic however dose not have this. Your attacks will always hit unless something
gets in the way, like a wall, or if you're not close enough for your sword to
hit the enemy. Some enemies can block your attacks, this can only be done if
you use a melee weapon, however you can not block so make sure you move a lot
when fighting. Whenever you make a hit with a melee weapon you will see a slash
hit the enemy, if you don't see it then you didn't make a hit.
Equipment
-----------
You are only as good as your equipment, so make sure you have the best that you
can get. You can get equipment from shops, enemies, treasure chests and quests,
almost everything has something in it just waiting for you to find it. To equip
something tap and drag it to the appropriate spot on the left side of the
screen, if you can equip an item then the spot it goes to will be green and if
you can't equip it then it will be red. Some weapons and armor can't be
equipped if your attributes aren't high enough. An example of this is the
Shaman's Club, which you need a minimum of 25 stamina points and 13 intuition
points, just to equip it.
Saving
--------
Your game will autosave everytime you go through a door, but you can also save
it at one of the many temples that you come across on your travels. To save at
a temple walk up to the shining orb and select it. All save rooms have a blue
door so if you see one make sure you stop and save your game, also some save
rooms have a shop with them.
Status Effects
----------------
There are five good and seven bad status effects, if you have an effect there
will be a icon at the top right side of the top screen. All effects are
temporary. The good status effects are activated by abilities and end when
deactivated or if you run out of magic. You get bad status effects from traps,
enemies, when you fail to pick a lock or when you eat bad food.
Lock Picking
--------------
To pick a lock you have to drag the green dot on the bottom screen to move the
green dot on the top screen. Your goal is to push all of the pins into place
until they are green, then move to the finsh target. If you touch the walls or
any of the gears then you fail and have to start over, also at the bottom of
the top screen is a timer, if it runs out then you fail.

Now for the actual walkthrough prat of the guide. Do to the fact that there are
so many different ways of getting to the Warlock I will try to go the easiest
way, but that may not be the way that you go, so if you are stuck at a part in
the game and it's not in this section, then check the Quest Log section and if
it's not there or anywhere else then feel free to e-mail me (See legal
disclaimer for contact info).
Stonebridge
-------------
When you start the game you are on a dock, follow the path to the left and you
will be stoped by a Dwarf, this is Thelonius Manintown, he will tell you to
find his friend Mizar who lives in the mountain. This is your first quest, but
for now take a right and go into town. you should see another dwarf in front of
you, this is Weaeselnose, if you need armor you can get it from him. To your
left is a woman, she is one of the Tweedles and will sell you food and potions.
When you are done looking around make your way to the far north-west side of
town, there should be a door there that you can go in, head in to start your
traning.
The Barracks
--------------
In front of you is Wilkins, talk to him and he will give you a Rusted Dagger
and tell you to kill Mr. Strawman who is to the left. Talk to Mr. Strawman then
kill him, you will get a level from this. When you're done talk to Wilkins
again and he will send you off to find the monk at the temple, leave the
barracks the way you came in.
Village Temple
----------------
From the barracks door go straight until you come to an alley, go right and up
the steps to get to the temple. Once inside go straight up to the altar to find
the monk, he will tell you about saving- the shining ball is a save orb. When
he's done talking head back to Wilkins for the last time.
The Barracks
--------------
Talk to Wilkins, he tells you to look at the handbook by the door, it's the
shining thing. You don't have to read it, just open it then talk to Wilkins
again, you can read it whenever you want to by opening the game menu. You've
done everything Wilkins wanted, talk to him again to get the Town Key. Now that
you have the key leave the barracks.
Traveling
-----------
From the barracks go straight then left to the big door, unlock it and go
through. Follow the path on the other side until it ends at a cave, inside is
where the game makes a crossroad. In the cave there are two ways you can go,
take a left to find a sleeping Orc that will wake up and attack you. If you
kill him you will get a key that will open a door that goes into the mountain.
If you go right you will go downhill and fall in a hole, both take you into the
mountain and you don't miss out on anything. I will take the left path, so lets
go wake up sleeping beauty.
Guard Room
------------
Once the Orc is dead you will get the Gate Key, use it to open the door around
the corner. This is the guard room, but there are no guards right now, only a
Dwarf. In front of you is Bartholomew, he's looking for ore so if you find some
take it to him. When you're done talking go forward and right down a spiral
hallway, there might be an Orc at the bottom. At the end are two doors, go in
the right one.
Workshop
----------
This is the workshop where Mizar lives, he's the dwarf that Thelonius Manintown
sends you to find. Talk to him (It dosen't matter what you say) and he will ask
you to find him a new hammer in exchange for a piece of ore, you have no choice
in the matter. You can find one in the Orc tavern near where Bartholomew lives,
so for now leave the workshop.
Traveling
-----------
Outside the workshop, go in the door to your right. Go down the hallway until
you come to a door on your left.Inside are three enemies (Dwarves if your at a
low level and Orcs if your not),go in, kill them and make for the back left
part of the room. There should be a glowing pile of ore here, take it and head
back to the hallway. Once in the hallway go left to the next closest door, it
will be on your right. You're now inside the Orc tavern, go down the stairs to
find a Dwarf, kill the Dwarf to get the hammer. When you're done here go back
to Mizar and give him the hammer for the ore. Now you have two pieces but you
need three. The last one can be found by going up the hallway from the workshop
at the top go right to a door, not the door back to the cave. Once inside go
down the hallway until you come to a door on your right and left, the door on
your left is blue so it's a save room, there is a shop in there as well so stop
and save. When you're ready, leave and go in the other door. Follow the path
and go in the first door on your right. Two Dwarves will attack you right away
and there is one more in the back. When they are all dead,go in the back room
to find the last piece of ore as well as a pickaxe-leave the room when you're
done. Once you're back in the hallway go into the door to your right. There are
two elementals in here, one fire and one ice. If you can't fight them, then
make a beeline for the treasure chest to your right. In it is a book and some
treasure, once you have it get out of there. Now that you have all of the ore,
you need to find Bartholomew.
Orc Den
---------
Bartholomew lives in the Orc den next to the destroyed temple and the Orc
tavern. If you can't find it just follow the green dot on your compass. Go in
when you get there, inside are three Rats, kill them and talk to Bartholomew. If
you have the ore he will tell you about an Orc that has a key you need to go
deeper into the mountain. He will also give you a steel shield. The Orc can be
found in the cell block.
Cell Block
------------
From Bartholomews Orc den, follow the hallway back to the guard room, in the
guard room go up the hallway and at the top go in the door to the right. Follow
the hallway until you come to two doors, go in the one on your right. Now
you're in the prison hallway, follow it until it comes to a door at a dead end
and go inside. Inside you can go left or right, go right and you will see an
Orc, but hes not moving. You can talk to him if you want to but don't.Instead
talk to the Dwarf in the cell behind him. The Orc is Max Pain and the Dwarf is
Hobbler. If you talk to Hobbler, pick the following, "What can I do?", "What is
the message?", "How do I get to the bastion of which you speak?" and "I will do
it". When he's done talking, speak with Max Pain and he will try to kill you.
When he's dead go back the way you came but don't go to the door, instead go
down the other hall to a door, this is the cell block-go inside. Inside are
five Orcs and one that's not moving. The one that's not moving is Klugg, he has
the key you need. Walk up to him to start a conversation. Now if you think you
are strong enough to kill five Orcs and Klugg, who is as strong as a normal Orc
but has twice the health and his attacks poison you, then pick "Just give me
the key to the door upstairs. No need for a fight". But if don't think you can
kill all of them, then pick the bottom one then "Not if I kill you first!" he
will give you the key and leave. Klugg is one of the bosses of the game even
though you don't have to fight him, but if you do and you win you will get a
lot of experience for it. So it may be worth the risk. When you are done here
leave the cell block and go back all the way to the save room/shop. When you're
back in front of the blue door go right to the door at the dead end, unlock it
and go in.
Ring Square
-------------
In the ring square you will be attacked by either four Orcs, one Orc and an
elemental or three Orcs. The ring itself has seven doors to explore, but for
now go in the one directly in front of you. You should now be in the
Chieftain's Room, this is where you can find the Orc chieftain Zhug. He should
be standing in the middle of the room. You can't avoid this fight so make sure
you're ready before you talk to him. Have a lot of healing potions, the best
weapons and armor you can get and don't even think of fighting him if your
lower than level ten. When you think you are ready, walk up to him to start the
battle.
Zhug is the chieftain of the Orcs (But we all know who the Warchief is right?)
so it goes without saying that he is the strongest of them all.He should be the
toughest enemy that you have fought so far. He has a LOT of health, his attacks
are long range and have a great chance to poison you and if he hits you up
close it will do a lot of damage. On the brightside though it's just him, no
ganging up on you, and he has a big chair in the middle of the room that you
can hide behind if you health gets low. As far as the fighting goes it all
depends on what abilities you have. Magic is your best bet, if you use a bow
then try to get him behind the chair and just take pot shots at him, the same
with magic. If you use a melee weapon then go crazy, just keep moving and you
should be fine. When he's dead you should gain a lot of experience. I was at
level ten and I went up two levels, and some treasure. One thing in particular
is the Crown which is one of the best mask items you can get. You also get the
Gate Key if you don't already have it. When you're done go to the back right
corner of the room to find that piece of scum... Peon.
Traveling
-----------
With the Orc chieftain dead, it's time to talk to Peon. Peon is another
crossroad in the game depending on what you did before you talk to him, but all
paths end at the same point so it dosen't matter which one you go. So talk to
Peon and he will tell you to get him some mushrooms from a cave in exchange for
information on how to go deeper into the keep. To get the mushrooms leave the
chieftain's room and go in the first door on your right. There will be a set of
six rooms in front of you, three on each side. Go up to the second set, there
should be a path that goes down on your right, follow it. You should be in a
room with a man named Orlinn. Talk to him to find out that a group of Orcs have
stolen his lucky dice and if you get them back he will tell you about the keep.
For now keep going down the path until you come to a ladder going down-take it
to get to the cave. Once in the cave you will be attacked by giant rats, they
are stronger than normal and their attacks poison you. When you are done with
the rats follow the wall on the right until you find Thelonius Manintown. Talk
to him until he's done then talk to him again. If you have the pickaxe he will
take it and remember your kindness. You also get some experience. Now that
you're done with Thelonius follow the path until you come to a giant hole in
the ground with a cave along the wall, head in the cave. In this new part of
the cave you will be attacked by two spiders, kill them and follow the path
until you come to a door to go in. In this new room you can go straight or
right. If you go right you will find a save room and if you go straight you
will come to another door. Go through this door to get the mushrooms. This door
takes you back to the first cave with the rats, the mushrooms are to the right
of the door. When you have them go off the cliff and follow the wall on the
right to get back to the ladder going up. Now make your way back to Peon and
give him the mushrooms. Looks like we missed one of the rats, now he wants you
to kill three Orcs that attacked him. They can be found be leaving the
chieftain's room and going into the first room on your right, the one we were
in last time. Once you're there go to the-Who the heck is that?, Zagor! What's
he doing here? We don't get to find out as he leaves right away. Moving on, go
to the back of the room and go in the door on the left. There are four doors
you can go in here, for now go to the one on the far right. In here are the
Orcs Peon wants you to kill as well as a save room. Kill them and go back to
Peon. That rat wants you to do more, this time he wants a dagger that was taken
from him. The Orc that has it is in the dining room. To get there just leave
the room and go in the third door on your left. The Orc is to the left of the
door, talk to him and he will tell you to get some wine and he will give you
the dagger. But where do we get wine? To the Orc tavern! It is the tavern where
you got the hammer for Mizar t. Once there go to the back of the tavern, the
wine can be found in a glowing keg on the wall. When you have it make your way
all the way back to the dining room and give it to the drunken Orc. That fool
turns on you-kill him to get the dagger, take it back to Peon and he will
finally tell how to get past the guard. But we're not done yet, we need one
more thing.
Orc Den
---------
From the chieftain's room go to the second door on your right. You're now in a
hallway, follow the wall on your left until you come to a door at a dead end,
go inside. Kill the enemies in here then go to the back right corner of the
room. There should be a glowing box here that has Orlinn's dice in it, grab
them and take them back to him. When he gets them he will tell you that you
need a handle to open the portcullis to go deeper into the keep. To get it you
need to go to the dining room and check behind the waterfall for a secret door.
The door takes you to a cave, follow the path until you come to a lift. It will
take you to the boiler room. Once there look to your left to find the handle.
Outer Ring
------------
Now that you have the handle go back into the cave and go right to get back to
the dining room. Leave there and go through the door opposite of you. Go to the
back of the room and go in the door on your left. You should now be in the
Outer Ring, there's only one Orc here and his name is RubbleRat. Go talk to him
and if you've done everything Peon wanted he will attack you. Kill him and go
in the door. There are three Orcs and two elementals in here, kill them and go
to the back of the room to the portcullis. To the right of the portcullis is a
crank, use the handle to open the portcullis and go through the door.
Keep Entrance
---------------
You have passed another milestone. There are two new enemies for you to kill
now, they are the Undead Dwarves and Eyestingers. The Undead Dwarves have melee
attacks and the Eyestingers use magic. You are now at the Blocked Gate. If you
have the perception ability you can find a lot of treasure along the walls here
but for now follow the path and go through the door at the end. This is the
Wrecked Entrance and there's Undead here so kill them and go across the hall to
another door. Cut through this room and go in the door on the other side. You
are now in Nexus, think Ring Square but bigger. Go to your left past a hallway
to a door, head inside. This is the Library, go around the corner to find an
old man, talk to him to discover that he is none other then Giles the librarian
if you have the book that you find in the Jailer's Quarters then he will look
at it for you and send you off to kill some Orcs. The Orcs can be found in the
Orc Barracks or Wrecked Entrance, kill them and head back to Giles. Giles will
tell you that the book was one of Di Maggio's and that there's a second part to
the book somewhere upstairs, but that's all he will tell you. If you want his
help you have to give him a limb from one of the Undead in the Blocked Gate. So
make your way all the way back there and kill the one Undead that's walking
around and head back to Giles. He will tell you of a secret door in the
Portrait Room and ask you to bring him the portrait of Zagor from there. To get
to the Portrait Room leave here and go left to a long hallway with a door at
the end. Go through here and through a walkway to get to the Portrait Room.
Once inside go straight then left to find the portrait. There's a secret door
behind it but you need a key for it. Once you have the portrait go back to
Giles and he will give you the key for the door. The door will take you back to
the Cell Block as a shortcut. He will also tell you that you need a blue candle
to go any farther and that if you bring him some wax he will enchant it for
you. To find some wax we have to find a temple.
Travelling
-----------
You can get wax from any of the temples found through out the keep, but the
closest one is pretty far off. To get there leave the room and go back to the
Portrait Room and through the secret door so that you are in the Cell Block.
Leave there and go through the Torture Chamber, down the hallways to the Guard
Room, down the spiral hallway and through the door on the left and finally
follow the hallway to the giant door at the end. Through the door is the
Destroyed Temple, when inside go left until you come to a stand with candles on
it, cheack it for the wax. Now that you have the wax you need Giles to enchant
it. Use the secret door in the Cell Block to get back. When you finally get
back to the Library talk to Giles for the... enchantment? right. Now that you
have the blue wax you need it made into a candle. Waxenwicks in Stonebridge can
do it, but I'm sure you don't want to walk all the way back there. Don't worry
I have a shortcut. Leave the Library and- It's him again! Zagor! this time you
can say something but he runs off again. Anyway, from the Library go right,
down the long hallway and through the door at the end. Cut through the room to
the other door and go in. You should now be in the Boathouse. Look around and
you should see a skeleton. This is Engineer and he needs your help. He wants
you to kill the Dwarves in the next room. These Dwarves are still alive and are
stronger then the Undead ones. Talk to Engineer then go kill the Dwarves. These
dwarves are weaker then normal living Dwarves so it will not be hard. When they
are dead look around the room for a lever, when you find it pull it to raise
the water levels. Now head back to Engineer for your reward. If you raised the
water then there should be a boat next to Engineer, get in it to go back to
Stonebridge.
Stonebridge
-------------
Now that you are back in Stonebridge, go to Waxenwicks house-it's next to the
gate. Once there talk to Waxenwicks and he will give you a blue candle in
exchange of the blue wax. When you have the wax and you're done in town leave
through the gate, not the boat. Your destination is the Ring Square, When you
get back there go into the Boiler Room. Once inside go to the very back of the
room, there should be a secret door here, go through it to get to the Dwarf
Stronghold.
Dwarf Stronghold
------------------
Now that you are in the the stronghold go right and in the gold door. You are
now in a new temple, in front of you is the Dwarf named Livingstone, he's a
weird one. Talk to him and he will ask you to recover a sacred horn and blow it
at the altar in the Catacomb. Why does everyone keep sending you off to do
these things? I just don't know. Anyway, to get the horn you need to go back to
the Destroyed Temple, it's next to where Bartholomew lives. Once there go to
the middle of the room and check the small bell that's among the seats. It
should open a secret door in the back of the room, go in the secret door. This
room is called Temple Secrets, go down the stairs then go right. There should be
a glowing altar, check it to find the Dwarven Horn. Now that you have the horn
leave the room and exit the temple. Now that that's done you need to find the
Catacomb, it's next to the Library so that's your destination. The fastest way
to get to Nexus from the temple is to use the secret door in the Cell Block, so
head there and go through the door, through the Portrait Room and hallway until
you are at Nexus. From outside the Portrait Room door go to the first door on
your left, inside is the Small Temple. When inside go straight, down some steps
and in a door. You are now in the Catacomb. Go to the back of the room to find
the altar, walk up to it to complete the quest. Now that that's done it's time
to go back to Livingstone. You can go back to the secret door in the Boiler
Room or find some other way of getting there. When you're back in front of
Livingstone talk to him and he will thank you for your help and tell you how to
go further into the keep. But,in order to continue you need to find the sceptre
Poisonous Lake
----------------
The sceptre can be found in the Poisonous Lake, but to get there you need to go
through the Old Kitchen, which is in Nexus next to the Library. Once you are in
the Old Kitchen, go left from the entrance to find a locked door. If you
talked to Livingstone then you should be able to open it. Go through the door
to get to the Poisonous Lake, once inside go straight and take the first left.
There should be a fountain in front of you with a walkway around it, go left
around the fountain to find the sceptre. Once you have the sceptre it's time to
go up, get ready for a battle then go to the Portrait Room. When you get there
go across the hall to the door, now that you have the Blue Candle it should be
open, when you think you are ready go inside.
BOSS: Cyclops
---------------
Like all Boss fights you are locked in the room so running is out. Cyclops is a
giant pink Golem, he has a great deal of health and he attacks by shooting a
fireball at you, if the fireball hits you then you won't be able to run, plus
it's magic so it cuts right through your armor. He also has a melee attack that
can be deadly if you get too close. If you are lower than level twenty then you
won't stand a chance, but if you are at level thirty or higher then you should
be ok. If you are having trouble fighting him then go around the two pillars by
the door you came in at, they should block some of his attacks and give you a
chance to heal. Or, you could use the Skillshot Bow which has a good chance to
petrify him so he won't be able to move or attack you. When you kill him you
will gain a lot of experience. I was at level thirty-one and I gained two and a
half levels. You also get some treasure and the room gets unlocked so whan
you're ready, go through the new door.
Upper Keep
------------
There are two new enemies found in the Upper Keep, they are the Green
Eyestingers, which are the same as the old ones just stronger and their attacks
poison you, and the Golems, they are the same as Cyclops but smaller and a bit
weaker. On the plus side they give you the most experience out of all the
enemies. The room you are in is called Upper Keep Hallway. Across the hall is a
save room/shop and down the hall and to the right is a door. There's also two
Golems here, a brown one and a blue one. The brown Golems are melee fighters
and the blue use magic. If you don't need to save then go through the door to
the right. This room is the Trophy Room. There are two more Golems in here, a
brown one and a turquoise one, the turquoise Golems are the strongest of the
Golems. Kill the Golems and look along the wall for a secret door. It's in the
corner next to the rhino head, go through it when you find it. Inside is a long
hallway that ends at a room with a Dwarf in it. The Dwarf is Oliphant, talk to
him and he will tell you to get the Book Of Right from the Room Of The Three.
To get to the Room Of The Three, leave here to get back to the Trophy Room then
go in the door across from you. Now you're in the Reading Room. There's two
Golems in here, kill them and go to the back of the room where all the rubble
is. Look along the wall to find a secret door, go through it to get to the Room
Of The three. There are two turquoise Golems and a Green Eyestinger in this
room. If you can't kill them just run down the steps to the statue and grab the
book, but instead of a book you get a page. Oh well, just go back to Oliphant
and give him that. Leave the Room Of The Three and- you will see a familiar
face-Zagor once again appears before you. This time instead of running away he
talks to you and even asks you to kill the Dragon for him... then he runs away.
When Zagor leaves make your way back to Oliphant and give him the page, he's
not happy to say the least. He says something about a maze toy in one of the
temples then goes mad again. Which temple the maze toy is in is random but your
compass will tell you where to go if you get lost. When you get to the temple,
check around the seats in the middle of the room for a glowing spot. Check it
to find the Scrying Ball, with this you can go to the top of the keep, but for
now return to the Upper Keep.
Upper Keep
------------
Now that you have the Scrying Ball it's time to go to the Maze. To get there
from the Upper Keep Hallway, go in the door on the side to the Trophy Room, cut
through here to get to the Reading Room. When you're in the Reading Room go in
the door on your left. This room is the Reception Hallway, it looks the same as
the Upper Keep Hallway. From here, go right and down the hall into a door.
There are three Green Eyestingers in this room, there's also two doors. The one
to the left is a save room and the big one takes you into the Maze. Save and
stock up on supplies-the Maze is the next stop and you might get lost.
Maze Of Zagor
---------------
The Maze Of Zagor is one of the most harder parts of this game, it's a square
room with a door on each side, you start at the east door and your destination
is the west door. There's a trick to the Maze you can follow so your not just
wandering around, if you look at the walls you will see that some of them have
swords on them and some have axes. If you follow the path with the axes on the
walls it will take you to the westside door, but just in case you don't get it
I will try to walk you through it. From where you start go straight then left,
follow the path to the right and then go straight again, the path will go left
then right and straight again until it comes to two paths on your right, don't
go down the first one but down the second one. The path will go straight then
right, ignore the path on your left and go straight then left, follow this path
until it opens up into a big room with a fountain in the middle. From here go
left until you see a path with axes on erther side of it, follow this path to
the left then right until it ends at a fork, there might be a Minotaur here so
be careful, go left at the fork and then straight, ignore the path on the right
follow this path and it will take you to the door, inside is another Boss fight
so make sure your ready then head inside.
Boss: Minotaur
----------------
When you enter the room the first thing you see is Minotaur, walk up to him to
start a conversation, it doesn't matter what you say he will still try to eat
you, so when the conversation is over get ready to fight. he's the same as the
other Minotaurs just gray, has more health and is a lot stronger. This is a one
on one fight, but the room is small and has no where to hide. On the plus side
though he can't use magic, so if you have a Bow or can use magic then run
around the room and take pot shots at him. If he does hit you there's a chance
that you wont be able to run and your armor goes down. You should be at the
lest level thirty when you fight him if your at level forty or higher you will
be ok. When he's dead you will get a key, some treasure and a LOT of experience
I was at level forty when I killed him and I gained three levels. When your
done here go in the door opposite of where you came in at.
Maze Of Zagor
---------------
Go through the hallway to get to the second part of the Maze. It's the same
deal as the last Maze. Follow the axes to get to the end. You are at the east
door and you're going to the west door. To get there from where you start
follow the path to a four way stop, go right and follow the path until it opens
up into a big room with pillars. Directly in front of you is another path, go
down the path to the left of this one. Keep following it ignoring the paths on
your left and right until you come to a path on your right that's a fork. Go
right at the fork to get to the door and go through it. You can now go straight
or right, to the right is a fountain and behind it is the last save room of the
game-save, save a lot. When you're ready go through the other door.
Dragon Tower
--------------
The room you are in is one giant staircase going up, start climbing. About
halfway up you will find a door. It's locked and you can't get in so keep going
until you reach the top. At the top is a door-go inside. Inside are planks
going up, at the top is some rouble, walk around it to some more planks going
up, at the top of them is a door. Through here is another Boss fight, this time
you got your work cut out for you. Heal, save, do what you need to and once
you're ready go through the door.
Boss: Dragon
--------------
In my opinion this is the hardest Boss fight in the game. You have to fight a
Dragon this time. When you enter the room walk up the ramp to the top of the
tower. The Dragon can be found flying laps around the tower, while he's up
there you can't hurt him, but he will shoot fireballs at you If he hits you
with one you're dead. All of his attacks are one hit kills. When he's done
flying he will dive down and his head will appear by the end of the ledge. It
always appears at the same place. When his head is at the ledge that's your
chance to attack, however he will still shoot fireballs at you and if you get
too close he will bite you. His bites are not as strong as his fireballs but
they might poison you. After a few attacks he will return to the sky. While
he's in the sky use the pillars as cover until he's at the ledge, then shoot
him with a Bow or magic. If you use a melee weapon then you're going to have
one tough fight ahead of you. It doesn't matter what level you're at, but if
you're at level fifty or higher then this should be easy. When the Dragon is
dead you will get the Dragon Essence and a lot of experience. I was at level
forty-three and I gained three levels. There's nothing else here so leave
through the door you came in at.
Dragon Tower
--------------
Well that's it, you killed the Dragon-time to go home... Wait one minute,
didn't we come here for a Warlock? If so, then why are we killing Dragons? Oh
well. Anyway, now that the Dragon is dead go back to that long stairway and to
the door that was locked. It's unlocked now so go through it. In front of you
is a long rope bridge with a door at the end, make your way across the bridge.
Now, through this door is the last Boss fight, that means it's Zagor. Buy the
best weapons and armor you can get and as much food and potions as you can
carry. When you think you are ready go through the door.
In front of you are a few steps, go up them and stop. Do me a favour and look
up at the ceiling. There's a painting of a Dwarf fighting a Dragon on it, just
thought you might like it. Now, Zagor is standing in the middle of the room,
walk up to him to start a conversation. He wants the Dragon Essence and we wont
give it to him, conversation ends, battle starts. Zagor is a Warlock so it goes
without say that he uses magic. He shoots all of the elemental magic as well as
some of the others. If his attacks hit you they have a great chance to give you
a status effect. Zagor has a lot of health and even with the best weapons this
will take some time. Once you get his health down a little he will transform
into one of the enemies you have fought so far. when he's transformed you have
to kill the enemy he transformed into in order to attack his normal form again.
Zagor can't be affected by status effects, but when he's transformed he can be.
The enemies that he transforms into are the Orc, Minotaur, Golem and Wisp. If
you are having trouble fighting him try running around the pillars. If you are
lucky he might get stuck and you can just shoot him with a Bow or magic until
he's dead. If you are below level fifty your going to have a hard fight on your
hands, and if your higher then level fifty you should be fine. When he's dead
Zagor will scream and flash white then disappear, you will get some treasure as
well as a Lot of experience. I was at level forty-six and I gained four levels.
Zagor's Treasury
------------------
Now that Zagor is dead the treasure is all yours. Walk to the back of the room
to where the treasure is and you will start talking to yourself. What you say
doesn't matter, it's just for fun, but just in case you care, I listed it below
say the following to get the ending you want.
Seeing all this, there's nothing for me but retirement. After one last long
haul, of course. ----- Some burdens are easy to bear... ----- ...When you think
about them from your castle, looking at this fine boat. Life is good! ------
Normal Ending.
The treasure is here, but there's so much of it! ------ All the evil that was
done, all the suffering by people... that's not the way it should have been!
------ I'll make it all right! Peace in the world is a fine ambition all it
takes is strong will and hard work. ------ Looking how everyone lives in peace
and harmony makes it all worthwhile! ------ Good Ending.
The treasure is here, but there's so much of it! ------ Carrying the loot would
take too long. and, actually, he had quite a nice setup here. ------ It took
some cleaning, but now everything's working out just fine. Except... ------
Those villagers refused to pay tribute again. Defiance should not be encouraged
------ Evil Ending.
Congratulations! You survived the peril and danger of Firetop Mountain! But you
can't move all of this treasure by yourself, so it's itme to go to town and
hire some help.

When you beat the game you will be taken back to The Barracks in Stonebridge.
Talk to Wilkins to hear a vary sad tale. Zagor's not dead and everyone in town
and in the mountain has forgotten you, all except Wilkins and Zagor. What does
this mean? you might ask. It means that the game will start over on you. All of
the quests you have done get reset and you lose your key items, but that's not
the best part. All of the ememies are twice as strong as before. So that if you
are at level sixty it's the same as being at level one. It's not all bad though
new items get unlocked each time you beat the game, so that's good right?.

I am going to list all of the quests I can find here. Quests that are in the
walkthrough and quests that I may have passed in it will be here. A lot of
quests are repeatable and I will mark which ones. Also some quests are the same
as others. Bartholomew and Mizar both tell you to kill two red Orcs as a quest.
You gain experience and a little bit of gold for any quest you complete, but
sometimes that's all you get. The chart below is how the quests will be set up.

Description: Peon lost his dagger to a drunkard in the Dinning Room
Retrieving it won't be difficult.

Abilities are the powers that you have in the game, you can have up to seven
abilities and twenty-four points in each aility. What abilities you have
effects what you can do, if you have the Elemental ability then you can cast

hit or if you have the Dagger ability it will increase the damage you do with
daggers. Once you set an ability you can't remove it, also after every ten
levels or so you can set a new ability. The more points you put towards an
ability the more effective it will be.

The strongest weapon in the game is not "dragon slayer" It is the fish club
(yes its shaped like a fish when hold it). It has 999 atk.
To get it, go to the room "cell block". You must use the portcullis handle
on a wench by the bridge, this will drop a steel cage down. After that you
go to "waterfall passage" and go all the way down till you reach the pool.
Near the pool should be a rusty steel cage, search it. You will find a
fishing hook.
Next, go to the "trophy room". On the wall to the right, immediately after
entering the trophy room, is a fish on the wall. Investigate it and you
have the most broken weapon in the game.
The weapon doesn't have much range, but it attacks fast and kills lots of
stuff in one hit (at least during the first playthrough).
---------
Q: Why would I buy the Potion Of Healing when the Steak does the same thing
for a quarter of the price?
A: You wouldn't, I don't know why the potions cost so much and do so little.
---------
---------
A: If you are in the Mize and it's a big empty room then the enchantmet is
still on. To remove it you need to talk to Oliphant, who can be found in
the secret door in the Trophy Room.
---------
A: Oliphant wont talk to you if you don't have the Sceptre, you can find it in
the Poison Lake next to the Old Kitchen.
---------
A: I thought it was, seeing that I made a guide for it. The game is good, it's
not the best, but it's good, if you like RPG games at all then you will
like this game.
---------
A: When I bought the game it come with a book, I for one was jumping with joy
(I aways wanted one). If you like fantasy in general (Lord of the rings,
Warcraft, Dungeons and dragons, ect) then you might enjoy the books, yes
there is more then one.
---------
A: At this time it's just the one, I for one hope they make more.
