1. Introduction

Credient Web is the [online] channel used to interact between your company and the Banco de
Credito BCP. The platform allows the client to perform financial transactions and inquiries in a
quickly, efficient, and safe manner. The services offered through this system are developed with
the highest technology available creating a revolutionary experience at an administrative [and
treasury] level.

1.1 How does Credinet Web work?

Once the contract is signed and your company is registered, you will receive the Kit Credinet Web
containing the all the materials used to properly operate in the platform.

The online address to access the service is: www.bcp.com.bo, where you will find the link to
Credinet Web at the top right of the page.

This “User’s Guide” for Credinet Web will allow you to rapidly familiarize yourself with the product
and perform any financial transaction at the bank. We hope this guide is helpful for any user and
we recommend you have it saved in a convenient location for future access.

1.2 Elements used to operate on Credinet Web

Credinet Access

This is the access number used to enter the platform and to prepare and/or authorize
transactions. Every user is assigned a different 16-digit access number and a 4-digit PIN number
which are only known by the owner of the card for preparing, authorizing and/or administrative
purposes.

Token

It’s a safety device that generates a 6-digit number – known as a dynamic code – every minute and
is synchronized with the central system of the bank. When the dynamic code is preceded by your
PIN number, it allows you prepare any operation on Credinet Web.

The following information from the Token must be entered when preparing a transaction:

1. Find the Token series number found at the back of the device under a bar code.
2. Using the digital keyboard, you must enter:
4-digit PIN number found on the letter in the KIT + 6-digit dynamic code generated by the
Token

Proper care for the Token

 Do not leave it in places where the screen could break or get damaged. Always place it in a
safe spot when you are not using it.
 Like any other electronic device, please do not expose the Token to high temperatures or
magnetic fields.
 Avoid it getting hit or exposed to pressure.

Administrator

The administrator is the designated user by your company to overlook the Credinet Web system
by fulfilling the following functions:

 Assigning and/or activating the accounts of your company through the platform
 Creating roles and limits for each user and type of operation
 Determine the number of authorizers needed for each operation
 Modify roles and limits of the users according to the necessity of the company

User

A company can have several types of users in charge of Inquiring, Preparing and/or Authorizing
transactions performed through Credinet Web:

 Inquirer  this user only has access to “Inquiries” to download bank statements, to
[identify payments], and to look over the various transactions made from each account.
 Preparer is the user assigned to prepare all the financial transactions for your company,
this includes national and international transactions, massive payments, and service
payments.
 Controller this user does not necessarily need to exist, it will depend on the
requirement of each company. Its job is to review the transaction prepared by the
“Preparer”, is a second filter that makes sure the operation has all the correct information.
 Authorizer this person authorizes all the transactions uploaded by the “Preparer”.

1.3 Transactions

Credinet Web allows you to perform the following transactions:

 Online: Once the transactions are prepared and authorized, these are processed
automatically in real time.
 Per request (offline): once the transactions are prepared and authorized, these are
processed throughout the day, as long as they are requested within the established
timeframe.

1.4 Operation Hours

The following chart shows the times until certain operations must be requested for them to be
processed the same day.

It is important to take in to consideration that any transaction authorized after 21:30 will be
processed the next day.

2. Logging into the system

To access Credinet Web the user must enter its 16-digit access number and its PIN number and
finally click on “Ingresar”.

3. Inquiries

The client can make inquiries about its account balance and transactional movements on all the
accounts registered to Credinet Web.

3.1 Account balance and movements

Once the user is logged into the platform, the first thing shown is(are) the account(s) balance(s)
and the last 20 transaction movements from each account. The client has two modalities to
visualize the balances and transactions: mosaic or list.

3.2 Bank Statements


The second option under “Inquiries” one can find the bank statements from one year ago until the
current day from the chosen account.

The historic information of each account is saved in Credinet Web from the date the contract
states the company is registered into the platform. Credinet Web stores the historic information of
the accounts for 3 months. Therefore, we recommend the client to download their bank
statements on a frequent basis in any of the formats offered (Excel, personalized Excel, PDF,
personalized PDF, SAP heading, SAP detail).

To generate this report follow these steps:

 One can choose specific days, e.g. April 2 to April 18, or choose by month, e.g. only April.
 By clicking “Obtener Reporte” the system will generate the online bank statement, which
can also be downloaded, like the following one:

The last column of the online report is where the company can click to request a certificate which
are used to present at different institutions such as customs and the national tax office.

 In order to download this certificate, the user must mark the box of the operation(s)
needed to report and click “SOLICITAR CERTIFICADO” as shown below:

 The cost of the certificate is Bs. 35 and it is automatically deducted from the company’s
account.

Lastly, by clicking at the end of the online report, a list displays the various characteristics that
can be included or excluded from the report, such as: date, time, description, amount, balance,
type, office, user, operation number, beneficiary, batch number, payer, channel.

3.3 Payment identification

Credinet Web helps your company generate the report for all the payments made to your accounts.
To proceed with the creation of this report you must select the account and the dates or month:

 Once the dates are chosen, you must click on “Actualizar Reporte” and export the document
either on Excel or PDF format.

 Under the option of payment identification the client can visualize vouchers for each of
these on the predetermined format by clicking or can download them by clicking .
 The cost for downloading each voucher is 2 Bolivianos on PDF format exclusively.

3.4 Credit Cards

The Company can view the information of the credit cards affiliated to each account on the platform.
For this the cliente must go to “Inquiries” and click on Credit Cards, after that they have to select
the card from which they want the information.

3.5 Collections

In case the Company collects with BCP through the platform, they can generate reports to look over
the transactional movements made on the accounts. To create this report, the client must select
specific dates or a month and follow the forth mentioned steps:

 The report can be downloaded on Excel or PDF format.

3.6 Pendings

Once the preparer has uploaded the batch onto Credinet Web, this can be seen under “Pendings”
on the menu of “Inquiries” for it to be authorized or rejected. The authorizing user will receive an
email informing him or her the number of the batch or batches pending authorization.

To authorize or reject a batch you must proceed with the following steps:

 First click on the menu of “Inquiries” and go to “Pendings” where you will find the following:

 Check the box of the batch you want to authorize, or you can also select all the batches
pending of authorization by checking the box on the top orange bar.
 Then click on “Autorizar” o “Rechazar”, regardless of the decision, the next step is to eneter
your password – the same one you use to access the platform – on the following box:

 At the last column of the batch chart there are two symbols that help the authorizing user
validate the operation.

By clicking on you generate a voucher so the authorizer can see the transaction information,
just like on the following example:

By clicking you generate another type of voucher that is more a way to identify what authorizer
and how many are needed to process that transaction.
3.7 Tracing operations

The last option under “Inquiries” is used to trace the status of the batch already authorized. The
following chart has the detailed description of the different statuses found on Credinet Web:

4. Transfers

The second option on the top menu bar are national and international transfers. It is important to
take into account tha these transactions are made between acounts, so the payment can only go to
one other account.

4.1 National transfers

There are 4 types of national transfers:

 The cliente must choose the account from where the funds will be withdrawn and enter the
account that will get the deposit.
 If the withdrawal account is in bolivianos and the deposit account is in dollars, the client
could apply for a preference Exchange rate by clicking “Obtener Ticket Preferencial”, which
generates a ticket number.

 Once the amount and currency and chosen, you must select the controllers and authorizers
for the transaction.

 The people that take part on the operation will receive an email with the voucher. However,
if the company wants, they can add email addresses in the box at the end of the page before
clicking on “Preparar Transacción”. Between each email address a semicolon must be added
“;”
 To finish preparing the transaction you must enter the token information as shown below.

and that it is pending authorization.

 The batch can be found in “Inquiries”, under “Pendings”.

 The next step is for the authorizer to enter his or her password used to log in into the
platform.

 The following information chart will come up to confirm the transaction was correctly
authorized.

 The voucher and confirmation message will be emailed to you about the transaction.

Third party account BCP: transfers performed to other Banco de Credito accounts.

Individual transfers can be made to other BCP accounts by validating the information of the thrid
party account.

In case the amount sent is in dollars, you may be eligible to a preference Exchange rate ticket. After
that, you must select the controller and authorizer. Lastly, click on “Preparar la Transacción”.

Please follow these steps to perform the mentioned operation:

 Select the option “Cuenta terceros BCP” and enter the origin and destiny accounts.

My favorites: once the client has performed a transfer for the first time, they have the option to
save it as a favorite transaction which will tell the system to save all information from that payment.

Please proceed with the following steps to save payments:

 Choose the option “Cuenta terceros BCP” from national transfers and enter the origin and
destiny accounts.

 After filling all the information required about the transation, click on “Guardar como
Favorito” and name the payment on the window shown below:

 Once the transaction is prepared, it will automatically be saved on Credinet Web, thus, the
next time you want to make that payment you must fo to “my favorites” and choose the
operation:

 Once the favorite payment is chosen, the system pulls all the saved information which can
also be eliminated or modified.
 To finish preparing and authorizing this type of transaction is exactly the same as previously
shown. You must select the controller and authorizer, click on “Preparar Transacción” and
enter the token information.
 The batch will directly go into “Pendings” for the authorizing user to approve the operation.

Third party account of antoher bank (ACH): transfers to accounts of other banks.

To perform this operation you must follow the sme stepa as previously stated:

 Fill out all the information of the account to pay, the number, full name, bank, and office
where the payment will be sent to.

each batch and then click on “Autorizar” o “Rechazar”.

platform.

authorized.

 The voucher and confirmation message will be emailed to you about the transaction.

4.2 International Transactions

These are transactions performed to accounts in other countries. The person in charge of preparing
the transaction must select the account from where the amout – in bolivianos or dollars – will be
withdrawn and the information of the account that will receive the payment.

The mínimum amount to transfer is USD 5.

 First you must select the dollar amount to be transferred. Then choose the amount you
want to arrive into the beneficiary’s account. The currencies offered are: Bolivianos, Swiss
Francs, Yuan, Euros, Pounds, Peruvian Soles, Swedish Crowns, and Dollar.

 There are three types of tickets that can be requested by the cliente depending on the
amount trasnferred:

Types of Exchange Tickets


It applies to the exchange rate for national and
international transfers. Depending on the amount of
Preference ticket the transfer, the system automatically provides an
exchange rate. These parameters are assigned by our
finance department.
Comission charged for international transfers could
be under the regular rate, charged only to the
Preference comission beneficiary, only charged the payer, or have a shared
charge. These parameters are assigned by our finance
department.
It is the exchange rate applied when the international
Ticket for another
trasnfers is not in dollars. To obtain this ticke, the
currency
client must contact our financial department.

 Next, the description of the payment must be given followed by the selection of the
controllers and authorizers. Then click on “Siguiente”.
 In case the origin account is in Bolivianos, the system will generate the following message
for information purposes.

receiver of the payment as shown on the following images:

 The next step is to choose to what category the payment belongs to based on the parameter

 In case there is an intermediary bank for the transaction, one must click on “Si” in order for
the form to open up and fill out the information of the financial institution by searching the
SWIFT code or by name.
 The payment can be saved as favorite by clicking “Guardar como Favorito”
 Lastly, click on “Siguiente” to go to page 3 to confirm and finish the transaction. Click on
“Preparar Transacción” to fill out the token information to validate the series number, PIN
and dynamic number. Then click “Aceptar”.
 Once the operation is prepared a message will pop up with to confirm the batch number
and that it is pending authorization.

 The batch can be found in “Inquiries”, under “Pendings”


 To authorize or reject the batch, the authorizing user must check on the box(es) next to
each batch and then click on “Autorizar” o “Rechazar”.
 The next step is for the authorizer to enter his or her password used to log in into the
platform.

 The following information chart will come up to confirm the transaction was correctly

 The voucher and confirmation message will be emailed to you about the transaction.

5. Loans

In the scenario the Company has one or various loans with the BCP, all the information can be found
under this option on the main menu.

5.1 Loan Fee payment


 To make the payment fee of any of the loans, the company must choose which loan
payment they would like to make from the displayed list.
 The following step is to choose the account from which you want to debit the payment.

5.2 Voucher for Loan Fee Payment

Once the loan fee payment is done, the voucher will be automatically sent to the email address of
the people who took part on the payment.

 To download the voucher, one must choose the account of origin from where the system
will debit the amount.

 The Company has two options to download vouchers. The first one is a massive export on
PDF or Excel format by clicking the “Exportar”. The second one is by downloading one
voucher one at a time by clicking . The following is an example of a downloaded voucher:

5.3 Payment fee plan


 You are able to visualize your monthly payment fee plan accorded with the bank. This report
can be downloaded and printed for reference.
6. Planilla TXT

This format (TXT) is used to upload massive payments on to Credinet Web. For you comfort the TXT
and the Excel macro used to create this are available on the home page of Credinet Web under
“Guía Pagos Masivos”.

There are 4 ways to prepare any of the transfers from the previous table, (with the exception of
Multiple Payments): uploading the txt manually, uploading a favorite txt, importing a txt document,
or uploading a previous txt.
6.1 Uploading the txt manually

This modality to upload payments is convenient when there are not too many payment lines and
you want to upload them directly into the application. You select this modality by clicking on “Cargar
planilla manual”.

The next step is to click on “Agregar Fila” where a window will pop up to be filled out. In case there
is an error in one of the lines, it will be shown on “Líneas Incorrectas”, if the line is correct it will
appear on “Líneas correctas”:

Once the form is filled out, you must click on “Guardar” to create and sabe the charged line. This
has to be done for every line.
6.2 Uploading a favorite TXT

To create this type of favorite payments, you must go to “Operaciones” which is one of the options
on the top menu bar, then go to “Configuración de Pagos Favoritos” where you can upload an
existent txt.

Once the txt has been uploaded, all the payments will be organized base don type.

Thus, if in your txt you have 3 asset payments, 4 supplier payments, 1 cash payment and 0 payments
to other banks (ACH), all with be listed. To look over the detailed payments you must press on each
payment name. You can also see the correct and incorrect lines uploaded. Lastly you will also see
the txt total amount.

 Select controller(s) and authorizer(s) to finish preparing the payment.


 Fill out the token information to validate the transaction and sent it “Pendientes” to
authorize.

Once this is done, anytime you want to upload the same payment all you need is to choose the
saved favorite txt.

6.3 Importing a TXT

Once the TXT is generated, you can import it to Credinet Web’s system by following these steps:

 First select the origin account, the currency and the payment description.

 Click on “Importar Archivo” to upload the txt, then click on “Examinar” to choose the file
from your personal library. Lastly, click on “Cargar Palnilla”

6.4 Uploading the previous TXT

Credinet Web saves the last processed txt and allows you to recover and upload it again.

 To upload this txt you must click “Cargar Planilla Anterior” and select one of the previous
documents from the list.
 By clicking “Cargar Planilla” you will be able to have a detailed view of the batch you
uploaded.

 Once the txt is finally uploaded the next step is to choose controller and authorizer to finish
preparing the transation and proceed with the authorization of the batch.

7. Pago Masivos

Credinet Web offers a variety of ways to pay the Company assets, its suppliers, and to accounts in
other Banks in a massive way.

 Asset Payments
 Suppliers’ payments deposit into a BCP account
 Suppliers’ payments in cash
 Suppliers’ payments with cashier’s check to another bank
 Suppliers’ payments deposit into tha account of another financial institution

7.1 How to upload a massice payment?

The procedure to perform a massive payment is the same for all the operations previously listed.
 Once the type of payment is chosen from the top menú bar, please follow the mentioned
steps:
 First, select the account from where the withdrawal will be made. Second, choose the
currency and the description of the payment.

 If the currency is in dollars (USD) you must finish filling out the information and upload the
TXT in order for the system to consider the amount of the preferred comission ticket.
 After the txt is uploaded, the preparer user must choose controllers and authorizers.

 Add another email address in case you want the voucher of this transaction to be sent to a
person who does not take part on the elaboration of the operation.

 Once the transaction is ready, the perparer must select the series token number, enter the
PIN number followed by the dynamic number generateed by the token device.

 After entering the token information a message will automatically pop up to inform you that
the batch has been sent to “Pendings” found under “Inquiries”.

 Authorizer will receive an email stating that there is a batch pending authorization and its
number.
 The batches pending of authorizarion will appear in “Pendings” to select one of many at the
same time, and to authorize or reject these:
 To perform either of these actions you will be asked to type your password, the one used
to log into Credinet Web:

 The following chart will come showed up to confirm the batch has been correctly
authorized. Also an email will be sent to confirm this authorization with the batch
information.

 Everyone who was part of elaborating the transaction will reveive a voucher. However, this
can also be found in the platform for its download.
7.2 Asset Payments

The menu from massive payments displays all the transaction options, the first one is meant to pay
your company’s workers eveyr month as often as you need to.

7.3 Suppliers’ Payments

The client can perform different type of payment to its suppliers through the platform. To access
these options, the client needs to go to the menu of massive payments and choose one type of
payment.

Suppliers’ Payments deposit into a BCP account


The user can perform payments to the company’s suppliers by depositing to their accounts at the
Banco de Credito BCP by following the same steps mentioned on point 7.1

Suppliers’ Payments in cash

These payments are uploaded through the platform and automaicall sent to the bank’s system. With
the information entered from the TXT – document number and amount – and office, the person can
go to any cashier from of our national offices and collect the pament.

Suppliers’ Payments to another bank with a cashier’s check

The client can pay with a cashier’s check to the accounts of suppliers on another bank. For this type
of payment the Company must import the txt and fill out the information of the form like the ones
filled out for the previous payments.

The cost of this check is 80 bolivianos.

Suppliers’ Payments deposit into the account of another financial institution

This transaction is displayed on the menu of massive payments from where the Company can pay
its suppliers by transfering straight into the accounts of other Banks.

Suppliers’ Payments with cashier’s check

This payment is to suppliers through a cashier’s check but only to Banco de Credito BCP accounts.

7.4 Muliple payments

One of the most used transactions from massive payments is multiple payments since it allows the
user to upload only one TXT with several different types of payments. Thus, this means that in one
document you can have asset payments, all the payments to suppliers, cash payments, and
payments to accounts from other banks.

Please follow the steps mentioned below to upload a payment like this one:

 First choose the account of origin, the currency and put the description of the payment.
 Next upload the txt through any of the three modes: manually, importing the archive, or
choosing the previous txt.
 Once you click on “Cargar planilla” the following must be shown:

On the image we have an example tha depicts the amoun of lines the operation has. This means tha
the txt uploadede has 1 line of asset payment, 1 line of supplier’s payment, 1 line for a cash payment,
and 1 line for a payment to another bank.

To see the detailed lines from each operaion, you must click on the name of each transaction:
 Once the transaction is ready, the perparer must select the series token number, enter the

bank system with the batch information.

7.5 Withdrawal from another bank’s account (ACH)

With this option the company can make withdrawals from accounts of Banco de Credito BCP, but
with the explicit consent of the customer. This means that the owner of that account provides
his/her authorization in writing to the BCP. This payment could be due to a service provided by the
company. Furthermore, this authorization has to be registered into our system, otherwise, the
debits won’t be made.

7.6 Tax payment with cashier’s check

The Company pay its taxes with a cashier’s check. The information is filled out the same way as any
other cashier check and the payment is made like the rest of massive payments.

8. Services

On the top menu bar you can find “Services” that helps you perform three types of transactions:

 Service payments
 Property Tax Payments (RUAT)
 Retirement Payment contribution (AFP)
8.1 Service payments

This is the first option under the menu of “Services” which allows the user pay basic services such
as water, electricity, and pone.

The affiliated companies are CRE, SEMAPA, DELAPAZ, VIVA, ENTEL, and TIGO.

To pay CRE or DELAPAZ you must enter the customer code provided by each Company, then click
on “Buscar”.

If you want to save that payment as favorite, click on “Guardar como Favorito”, a window will pop
up to name the payment. Then click on “Aceptar”.
Once the payment is saved, the next time you want to pay this service, click on “Buscar en
Favoritos”, that window will display a list of all the saved payments:

After entering the information to make the payment, you must select authorizer and click on
“Preparar Transacción”.

Then introduce the token information to validate the transaction and click on “Aceptar”.
8.2 Property Tax Payments RUAT

The second option under “Services” are property tax payments tha entail car taxes and property
taxes, e.g. homes.

Car taxes

 First select the acount from where to withdraw the payment.


 Where it says “Número PTA” the client must enter the plate number of the car from which
the payment will be made and click on “Buscar”. The system will pull all he information of
tha payment.
 Lastly, choose the authorizer and introduce the token’s information to finish preparing the
transaction.

Property taxes

 To pay property taxes the user must choose the account from where the funds will come.
 Click on “INMUEBLES” to fill out the form for the property, must put the number of the
property, under what local government is it registered to, and the document number of the
owner.
 Once all the information is filled out, click on “Buscar” so the system can pull all the
information for the payment.
 Lastly, choose the authorizer and introduce the token’s information to finish preparing the
transaction.
8.3 Retirement payment contribution (AFP)

These payments are made by every Bolivian Company to contribute to their employee’s retirement
bond. The contributions can go to either AFP PREVISION or AFP FUTURO. Follow these steps to make
the payments:

 The next step is to pull all the the information of the AFP document, for that the user must
introduce document type, which AFP will get the payment, document number and number
of document created by the AFP.
 Then click on “Traer Datos Planilla” for the information to be pulled into the platform
system.

 Lastly, choose the authorizer and introduce the token’s information to finish preparing the
transaction and click on “Aceptar”.
9. Vouchers

The menu of “Vouchers” will allow you obtain, in a fast and easy way, the documented proof of the
transacions on Credinet Web.

The categories of the vouchers are: Current, One month old, Two months old, and Three monts old.
Credinet Web saves the vouchers for 3 months, however, there is also the option to download one
year old vouchers.

These documents can be downloaded on PDF or TXT to be printed. For massive payments, you can
also view a voucher for each individual transaction on PDF format.

There are four columns to choose from to download the vouchers depending on the type of
information your Company requires.

 The first option “Ver Comprobante” exists for any transaction. This voucher provides the
batch number, transaction type, information of the origin and destiny account, and the
amount:
 The second option “Ver Detalle” allows you visualize the detail of the transaction performed
through massive payments:
 The third option “Ver Fraccionado” has the following characteristics:

 The fourth option “Exp. TXT” is used by some companies to upload into their system and
generate the voucher with their own format.
Voucher per Operation

To access these type of vouchers the user must go to “Comprobanes” to display the menu and head
to “Comprobane por Operación”.

 To search for specific vouchers first set the date, either by day or by month.
 Then, as other existent options, you may enter more information on the other categories to
find the voucher or vouchers. These catergories are batch number, operation number, and
supplier.

The particularit of this option is that the user can download the vouchers one by one or massively –
all vouchers compressed in one document – on PDF format.

9.1 Vouchers from the old CW

We understand that out clients need access to vouchers of transactions performed on the old
platform, therefore, we enabled the option to visualize and download these. For this, you must go
to the top menu bar and select “Comprobantes Antiguo CW” where you have access to current, one
month old, two three months old, and even one year old vouchers. The formats of the downloaded
vouchers are the same ones as previously stated.
