Math in Modern World, A Synthesis

Mathematics is about recognizing patterns that provide clues about natural rules. Patterns are central to mathematics and can be numeric like numbers or geometric like shapes of leaves and animal stripes. Discovering patterns in nature can teach us to solve mysteries and develop technologies to create a better world. Humans use mathematics to analyze, organize, and apply patterns from nature.

Mathematics is not just about numbers; it is also about reasoning based on logic and sweeping

statements, as well as recognizing patterns that serve as clues to the natural world's rules. It is the most
fundamental aspect of reasoning, so it stands to reason that it is the best way to represent the patterns.
However, disregarding elementary logic, mathematics becomes the common language simply because it
must be.

Patterns are central to mathematics. Patterns in mathematics are classified into two types: numeric
patterns and geometric patterns. Patterns have been brought to relevant approaches in modeling
natural processes that occur in the world by new perspectives. Significant mathematical theories can be
understood and applied by comprehending these patterns. Patterns of numbers can be found in almost
anything. Aside from numeric patterns, there are also shape patterns or geometric patterns that occur
naturally, such as the various designs of flowers, leaves, and plants. Some animals have these patterns
as well, such as leopard spots, zebra or tiger stripes, and many others. By observing cloud formations,
shape patterns could aid in predicting the occurrence of an atmospheric phenomenon such as rain or
storm. One of the most well-known tourist destinations in the Philippines is the Chocolate Hills in Bohol.
Because of its symmetrical or balanced feature, it is known as the world's most perfect natural conical
formation; this attraction has encouraged scientific and mathematical inquiry over the years.

Discovering patterns in the natural world could teach us a lot. We could use these patterns to solve the
universe's many mysteries and to develop technologies that will help each other create a better world in
the future. These patterns continue to pose a challenge to human intelligence in terms of knowledge
and manipulating them for the advancement of life. Humans use mathematics as a tool to analyze,
organize, and apply patterns.

The most significant aspect of mathematics is its relationship to various human concerns. Because
mathematics is a complex body of knowledge, it can be used to develop advanced natural concepts.
