Problem Statement :- Think of 3 problems around you that need to


be/ could be solved-
(a) related to waste around you
(b) related to future development
(c) related problems faced by people.

Solution :-

(a) related to waste around you


WATER WASTAGE is most common problem in present era. As around
me we daily face problem of water scarcity due to wastage of precious water.
In last 1 year, several times we have heard that water level in borewell has
dropped and there is need for re-digging it. This is all because of poor water
management by the people in the society. People still don’t understand the
importance of water and thus tend to waste water in some unwanted tasks
which could be avoided. Thus, every morning we face problem of water
scarcity. Thus, there is urgent need for strong and effective solutions for water
management.
(b) related to future development

RENEWABLE SOURCES OF ENERGY is the need of the hour, Now-a-days


there is lot of power cut in the area and as a result we face a lot of problems
during the summer months. There is also news that the coal reserves are
rapidly depleting, so, as a result there is need of development of effective
technologies which support the usage of renewable sources of energy for a
better future such as solar panels and develop other technologies such as
battery driven cars, dynamos, etc. in order to effectively use natural resources.

(c) related problems faced by people

IMPROPER WATER DRAINAGE SYSTEM is one of the most disastrous


problem of modern times faced not only by my society but also worldwide.
Talking specifically about my society, particularly my apartment which is built
on the lower side of the slope, so as a result during rainy season, all of the rain
water slides down the slope and gets deposited in the parking lot of the
apartment which causes numerous problems faced by the people. Having a lot
of sever water deposited beneath the house causes problems of navigation in
and out of the building forcing people to walk through the sever water.
Moreover, sever water serves as a home for many hygienic and health
problems and diseases such as malaria, dengue, etc. and it also damages the
vehicles standing in the parking lot. So, the people around me including myself
need an effective solution for the proper drainage and treatment of waste
water to avoid such scenarios in the future.
