1. What is the role of ICT in assessing student learning? Cite specific examples.
The role of ICT in assessing student learning because it helps the teachers in storing
and recording the data and information of each students. It makes the work of teacher easier
through the use of excel formulas can compute easily the grades of students. The teacher will
save time and use it in other schools works to be productive. Also using ICT, the student can
explore there learning we can use this tool like giving an assessment to do vlogs or interviews.

2. As a future teacher, how will you assess your future students?


As a future teacher I will assess my future students a combination of traditional and

21 century of teaching and assessing. Although nowadays, authentic or performance
assessment is widely use. Authentic assessment can help the student to show their capabilities.
But it will be better if we could sometimes put formative and summative assessment in learning
because this type of assessment is less time consuming unlike authentic assessment.

3. What are the advantages and disadvantages of using ICT in assessment? How about
conventional assessment methods?
Advantage of ICT is it made easy to get information and make our work faster while
the disadvantage of ICT some students use this and become distracted and addicted in using
this technology. Advantage of conventional assessment is during checking the examination it is
easier specially if you give your student multiple choice type of exam but if you use the essay
type it will took a long time checking because you need to read each paragraph written by your
student very time consuming.
