A. Describe a learning environment that you have witnessed.
B. Give the importance of providing a conducive learning environment for learners.
C. Reflect on the school environment that promotes learning. What are its characteristics?
II. Steps:
A. Visit a school or picture of a school and its places using the internet.
B. Take note of the things found in a school environment.
C. Compare your visited school with the school you had at least when you were in elementary/
high school.

1. What are the characteristics of a conducive school environment?

A conducive school environment where the students and teachers


the know tehcan freely exchange ideas, thoughts and knowledge. Having a well-
managed and neat learning environment can contribute to the
\\\ learning development of the students. Learning environment of
students must be good and organized, particularly the facilities such
the room must be well ventilated, chairs and tables are in a good
place, the room should be wide, and clean. Even the learning
materials of students must be sorted properly and the school forms
are in good label.

2. Why is it important for teachers to provide learners an environment that promotes learning?

It is important to the teachers to have a good environment because


we all know that the kind of environment we have reflects in the
quality education and the institution which is the main objectives of
different school administrations. Complete and well facilitated
rooms have a big impact on the teachers and learners’ roles
because they can move easily and adopt a good relationship with
each other by imparting knowledge and addressing the things they
need.

IV. Analysis

What makes a school conducive for learning?

There are a lot of things that make school conducive for learning. First,
having a complete facility of learning can be easily adopted by the
students. Second, resources and school materials must be always
present to support the learning needs. Neat and clean environment
plays a big part in learning as well as the people. Actively conducting
activities can also make the school more conducive for learning
because students can express and show their skills and talents which
motivated them.

V. Reflection

As a future elementary/ high school teacher, where do you prefer to teach; the school
environment when you were in the elementary grade or the new visited school using the internet?

I prefer to teach in the school that I have visited using the internet when
I see the good conditions of their facilities which motivates me to teach
more. I like how their rooms were built because it is well ventilated, the
arrangement of the chairs and tables capture my attention. It seems like
you are allowed to teach freely and you can enjoy the whole session
other than the school I have had before.

I believe in this kind of school we can easily achieve our objectives in


teaching. We can enjoy our profession in all aspects.

Hence, the school we have, it is like our home we should give


importance and treat as a worthy to live one.

VI. Documentation

Put pictures and under each picture, write two or three related sentences. (maximum of 4
pictures).

I like how the chairs being used because students can sit where they are comfortable. I admire this
kind of room which they have their own monitor to be used.

The school library of the University of the Assumption is really conducive because it is well-
ventilated and the books, chairs and tables are organized which you can feel the good ambiance.

University of the Assumption laboratories are very interesting to visit because of the paraphernalia
in experimentation as well as the miniatures and displays of human body.

The auditorium of University of the Assumption is good place for a special events and visitors
because it is really conducive environment.
