safety analysis. He has been and is currently involved in several safety research projects for the
NCHRP, FHWA, Transport Canada, the Transportation Association of Canada & the Ministry of
Transportation, Ontario.

He has been a pioneer in understanding transport system studies including first user cost study in Science and Engineering Faculty
India in 1984. He is at present, part time consultant to the Asian Development Bank and World Bank QUT, Brisbane, Australia
advising them on highway projects. Dr. Ashish has expertise in traffic flow theory and control, active traffic management, traffic safety
analysis and traffic noise modelling. He is currently working on ITS usage for improved traffic data
quality.

Dr. Kunwar Rajendra is nationally recognized in the field of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), Former Director
transportation engineering and planning. Currently, he is an adjunct professor in the Department SPA, New Delhi
of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Michigan. He has contributed greatly to Urban Transport Planning Studies in India during last three
decades.
