Job Description –Staff Consultant-SCM

As Oracle Consulting, we help our Customer in implementing, maintaining, and integrating their Oracle
Applications and Technology environments while reducing the overall total cost of ownership. We
assemble an optimal team for each customer by blending resources from onshore, near shore, and
offshore global delivery centers to match the right expertise, to the right solution, for the right cost.

Description:
We are looking for bright and energetic individuals with keen interest in latest information technology
solutions, Industry Roadmaps and various innovations to achieve business goals. These individuals
should demonstrate ability to solve problems, take initiatives, and learn products & industry solutions.
Some key areas where people would work are configurations, unit testing, functional design for reports
& integrations, data conversions, research product functionality & defect resolution.

Major Responsibilities:
• Primary job will be to be a consultant for Oracle Cloud (ERP, HCM and CX) product suite for
customers in North America (predominantly) and other parts of the world
• Will be expected to be in customer facing roles and guide and assist the customers to
implement the product suites.
• Understanding the business process and flows of the customer before moving ahead with
implementation.
• Understanding the customer requirement and asking the right questions which will help in
smooth configuration of the application.
• Actively collaborating with Oracle Support and Product development to work on product
shortcomings and product enhancements.
• Conducting the data conversion workshop and performing the end to end data conversion and
reconciliation.
• Supporting the technical designs for integrations by providing functional inputs and creating
relevant documents like Functional design documents.
• Identifying and running reports as per customer requirements. There might be a need to
develop custom reports as well.

Desired Skills and Experience


 Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA Supply Chain or Operations or Marketing) and
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (BE or B. Tech)
 Excellent communication skills – both written & verbal, mandatory
 Ability to present ideas and solutions in a clear & concise manner
 Excellent MS Office Skills (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
 Self-motivated, energetic and self-driven with ability and willingness to learn quickly.
 Passion for reading and learning as way of life.
 Good interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport with all stakeholders
 Should have good analytical and research skills
 2-3 years of experience in one of the Industry functions like Manufacturing, Inventory,
Procurement, Sales or Marketing, Industry operations experience will be an added advantage.
 Exposure to Enterprise Application systems would be an added advantage.
