Imacbotz Workshop
Imacbotz Workshop
under Kaleidoscope
INTRODUCTION
The essence of being an Engineer does not lie in the ability to fill the gaps in existing
technology; it lies instead in the art of original thinking, in creating new avenues as yet
unexplored. It is this spark of inspiration that converts an idea, through the aid of science to a
plan on paper and later to working reality. The above fact will be precisely proved at the
“iMACBOTZ” (Intelligent Machine Robots) workshop at FOOTPRINTS’10.
“iMACBOTZ- ROBOTICS MADE EASY” is a workshop empowering all the technical minds
and robotics enthusiast with all the basics concepts of robot designing, component knowledge,
programming integrities and future technology pertaining to robots. The workshop is the media
through which participating students will acquire all the fundamentals of robotics while working
on the iMACBOTZ robot kit.

through which participating students will acquire all the fundamentals of robotics while working
on the iMACBOTZ robot kit.
After having experienced the workshop students will be confidently able to design their own
robot machine which can be controlled via four mediums viz:
2) WIRED CONTROL.
3) COMPUTER CONTROL.
4) INTERNET CONTROL.
You don’t require any prior knowledge as all basics will be taught at the workshop.
“Robots controlled with an attached wire onto the switches used to move the robot for specific
task”.
“Robots controlled through a remote .Now you need not move along with the robot while its
navigation”.
“Use of your keyboard or mouse to control your robot movements’ .Unique blend of computer
technology with electrical and moving machine”
“Robots controlled through your commands that mean it will recognise your voice to perform
activities”.

Hi Marmik,
It’s a 2 days complete workshop, you will have Robotics kit with you for the two days.
And than after learning all the theory and hands on session, there will be an option to buy
the kits after the workshop at discounted rates. And moreover you will be able to make
your Robotics Machine after the workshop. So than rather than buying, you can make
your own Machine yourself.

Hi team footprints .Does the computer controlled robots means they are programmable
robots or just controlled by computer through a wire connected to it .

@hardik- sorry. That topic is from autonomous robotics. We have the workshop ,this
year, covering robots using wired , wireless , mobile , internet and speech control.
But in case you want to clarify any doubts the trainer present there will surely clear your
doubts regarding Beam robots.

@ Nikunj
Hi nikunj,
we have included 6 types of robots.
Wired, wireless, pc, speech, internet & mobile control robots.
Apart from wired robotics, all the application run on wireless medium. For e.g ur receiver
will be there on ur robotic chasis and its 40-50meters far. And your transmitter will be
connected to computer, so than using GUI or through your voice comands you can
control the motion of your robo. Like you playing playstation. But its real application not
virtual.
And the fasinating feature is through your GPRS enabled mobile phone you can control
your robo. As if you are playing a game on it.
So its really a good apportunity to learn this modules due to FOOTPRINTS team.

@ Hardik,
Hi Hardik,
Beam robotics is a topic of autonomous robotics. But we have faculty coming from
industry, you can have direct conversation with him.
And for the Robotics enthusiasts, our team will give you the demo of complete
autonomous robots, swarm robots, aqua robots.
