Andika : Hi, Zefanya? What are you doing?


Zefanya : Hello Andika. I'm looking for some pictures for my explanation text
Andika : What's explanation text?
Zefanya : Text which tells processes relating to forming of natural, social,
scientific and cultural phenomena.
Explanation text is to say ‘why’ and ‘how’ of the forming of the phenomena.
Tristan : What's Generic Structure of Explanation Text?
Andika : The Generic Strucure of Explanation text is General statement, & Sequenced
of explanation.
Tristan : What's Purpose of Explanation Text?
Zefanya: To explain how or why something happens.
Andika: What the Language Features of Explanation Text?
Zefanya: Using simple present tense, Using abstract noun (no visible noun), Using
Passive voice, Using Action verbs, Containing explanation of the process ..
Tristan: State examples of explanation text and create a dialogue regarding
explanation text, which reviews about money!

Andika: I often see you consuming honey. Do you like honey?
Zefanya: I think everybody likes honey.
Tristan: Why did you say that?
Andika: Honey has many benefits. It can be used as bread spread, drinks, and a
medicine for most diseases.
Tristan: Really? How is honey made?
Zefanya: Honeybees use nectar to make honey. Nectar is almost 80% ... the end of
the blossom.
Andika: Where can bees get the nectar?
Tristan: In North America, bees get nectar from flowers like clovers, dandelions,
berry bushes and fruit tree blossoms.
Zefanya: How do they get it?
Andika: They use their ... their "honey stomachs".
Tristan: Honey-stomachs? I've never heard about that before.
Zefanya: Bees actually have ... in order to fill their honey-stomachs.
Andika: Wow! I will regularly consume honey after this.
Tristan: That's good!

Tristan: "Good afternoon Andika. May I have a minute to interview mother? Is my
arrival bothersome? "
Andika: "Oh no. I am very happy to be a resource person "
Zefanya: "According to you, what is the definition of environmental pollution?"
Andika: "In my opinion, pollution is a condition in which the environment is to be
unnecessary. And the environment can eventually become poisonous human"
Tristan: "What types of environmental pollution do you know?"
Andika: “What I know is pollution of water, air, forests and ecosystems, maybe in
protected forests but that is on a larger scale "
Zefanya: "Can you explain one example of environmental pollution?"
Andika: "For example, that's water pollution carried out by the community. For
example after washing clothes, people use detergent, while detergent
it contains chemicals, so the water that is disposed of it finally gets to
streams or rivers. In the city, the pollution that occurs is air "
Tristan: "How do you prevent environmental pollution?"
Andika: “In my opinion there is only one way. Namely human consciousness itself.
Because living things created by God with reason are just that human"
Zefanya: "What is the role of SMA Saint Mary in preventing environmental
pollution?"
Andika: "First, by disposing of the trash in its place. Garbage - trash we have to
sort it out, which is organic and inorganic. Second, there is
smoking ban in the school environment "
Tristan: "How do you make SMA 80 students aware of pollution environment ?"
Andika: "The method is by socializing students of SMA Saint Mary the importance of
the environment.
And because SMA Saint Mary is participating in a school competition Adiwiyata,
there will be legal sanctions for students who throw garbage haphazardly
