5G-NR support
• Support added for 5GNR Handover event detection, with full decode of the NR-
RRC Measurement Report message:
o LTE_5GNSA_HO_Init
o LTE_5GNSA_HO_OK
o LTE_5GNSA_HO_Type
o LTE_5GNSA_HO_Stage
o LTE_5GNSA_HO_Stage_Duration
o LTE_5GNSA_HO_Duration
o LTE_5GNSA_HO_Fail
o LTE_5GNSA_HO_Fail_Cause
o LTE_5GNSA_HO_Fail_Stage
• Attribute support for NR TopN Scan messages (v2) from Solutelia WINd.
• Support added for 2 more variants of Samsung Galaxy S20+ 5GNR devices when
used with TEMS Investigation.
• Support added for PCTel iBflex scanner devices, for both LTE and 5GNR.
• Support improvements for Samsung Galaxy S11 5G with Exynos 5100 family chipset,
decoding NR PHY SP PDCCH Statistics, and NR PHY SP PDSCH Statistics messages correctly
into Message Browser.
• Load speed improvements for 5G measurement files. When Load Time Message
Filtering is enabled, the following 5GNR messages are culled at load-time and will
not be presented in the logfile replay:
o NR 5G MAC UL TB Stats (0xB881)
o NR 5G MAC QOS BSR Report (0xB882)
o NR 5G MAC DCI Info (0xB885)
o NR 5G MAC UCI Information (0xB89B)
o NR 5G MAC LL1 PUSCH TX (0xB8A0)
• TEMS Route Reader API now requires .NET 4.8, which was added as a pre-
requisite of Analyzer in a previous release (AU2002 February Update).
• Support added for the Samsung Galaxy S20+ variants as a 5GNR devices:
o SM-G986U (Qualcomm Snapdragon)
o SM-G986B (Samsung Exynos)
• Support added for summary property values from TEMS Investigation, into the Independent
> Device Info grouping:
o TEMS_BuildDate
o TEMS_BuildVersion
o TEMS_Revision
o TEMS_Capabilities
o TEMS_MsIMEI
o TEMS_MsIMSI
• Support added for new speech path delay attributes from Audio MOS Downlink messages:
o Speech_Path_Delay_One_Way
o Speech_Path_Delay_RTT
• Resolved a problem where the final values were incorrectly being reported for RLC
throughput (when spanning multiple messages). This has been corrected to use
the cumulative maximum number of data bytes in the throughput calculation.
• Support added for uplink data volume and throughput on the physical layer.
o Physical_DataVolume_UL, which is set with the following criterion:
o Inter-message time interval > 500ms
o A transition in Technology_Mode
o LTE_UL_TTI_Count > 500 (where UL bytes are reported)
o NR_UE_Meas_Timeinterval_ms > 500
o Physical_DataVolume_UL_LTE
o Physical_Throughput_UL_LTE
o Physical_DataVolume_UL_5GNR
o Physical_Throughput_UL_5GNR
• Support added for “Capacity” type tests for multiple FTP download tests.
• Resolved a problem with the reporting of UE Tx Power levels, displaying a label in the
Message Browser for the combined power to be “PUSCH and PUCCH”, not setting attributes
NR_UE_Power_Tx_PUSCH or NR_UE_Power_Tx_PUCCH if their values are greater than
23dBm, and setting NR_UE_Power_Tx_SRS, while not permitting their individual values to be
greater than PMax.
• Support improved for physical layer data volumes and throughputs for LTE and NR:
o LTE_UE_NumBytes_DL
o LTE_UE_NumBytes_DL_for_Carrier
o LTE_UE_NumBytes_UL = (BitsAcked + BitsNacked) / 8
o LTE_UE_NumBytes_UL_for_Carrier
o NR_UE_PayloadRate_L1_DL
o NR_UE_NumBytes_DL
o NR_UE_NumBytes_UL
o Physical_DataVolume_DL_5GNR
• Added further message types to the SwissQual Log Code format group.
• Support added for Scanner LTE Pilots v2 message (version 5), to fully decode LTE
scanner measurements.
• Improvements made to support of LTE LL1 CA Cell message, formatting the message in the
Message Browser, triggering CA Active state, and setting associated CA attributes for RI, CQI,
DL Throughput for Carrier and UL Throughput for Carrier attributes while LTE_UE_CA_Active
= Yes.
General
• Support added for System Information-NB (BCCH-DL-SCH-NB) message,
formatting the following information elements in the Message Browser correctly:
o npdcch-StartSF-CSS-RA-r13
o npdcch-Offset-RA-r13
o NR_RRC_MeasResultServMO_ServingCell_*
• NR_RRC_MeasResultNeighCells_measResultListNR_*
Format Groups
• Format group for SwissQual Log Code has been extended to show all supported message
names.
• Improvements made to the range coloring of LTE Modulation format group (used
for LTE and NR modulation attributes):
o BPSK = black
o QPSK = red
o 16QAM = yellow
o 64QAM = green
o 256QAM = blue
o 1024QAM = purple
• Samsung Log Code format group has been extended to report the LTE message
types already supported, a selection of which are shown below:
• The Local Activation Server is now maintained with a version number, available in
the banner of the administration web page, along with its softkey ID and most
recent activation date.
• The “hamburger” menu on the left rotates when the menu is opened. The menu
slides in Chrome browsers and appears in IE browser.
• The Summary page (landing page when opening the microsite) shows the overview of all
softkeys hosted by this Local Activation Server. It shows the number of available client
licenses, and the maximum number of days a client license on that softkey may be taken
offline. The lower half of the screen is a per-user usage report, allowing investigation of
which licenses are currently in use for each user (including their session ID):
• The License Detail page shows the individual details of each softkey, as well as
the licensed features for each softkey. Features maybe of Full License,
Evaluation, Term or Pay Before type. The associated expiry date of each feature
is also listed, as it their relative Support Expiry dates. Expired dates for Full
License (support), Term and Pay Before types are shown in red font, whilst
expired Evaluation features are hidden from this view.
• The Server Admin page is restricted to only users who have a specified LDAP
group in their user profile (default = Administrators). The user may select a
softkey and configure the server Name, the Domain Group of users permitted to
use this client softkey, and set the maximum number of days a client license may
be taken offline (Max Offline Days, numerical, 1-31). It is also possible to
remotely Run Diagnostics of the server itself, to generate a text report, which
can then be copied into an email for Product Support:
• When a user who has insufficient privileges to access the Server Admin page
attempts to access the page, the administration microsite will return the following
error page. The same page is intended for occasions where the server has not yet
been activated, when the “Unauthorizes Access” warning message shall be
replaced with “Activate the Server”.
Message Browser
• New button has been added into the Message Browser Preferences dialog
(Message Format tab), to reset the Message Browser font back to the default
settings (Courier New, 8 point regular):
Superstreaming
• The SuperStreaming capability has been extended to allow text matching by
Filename and Streamname. The options have been changed to check-boxes,
allowing either (or both) options to be selected, and when the Matching button is
clicked, the search string will be used to select matching streams/filenames:
o The Server Name field has been extended to permit longer server names
when concatenated with “ACTIXSQLEXPRESS”.
