Online Statements

About this guide


This guide shows you how to:
• View online statements, including CommBiz Activity Statements (Billing summaries) and online statements for
Transaction Accounts, Credit Cards and Merchant Facilities.
• Turn off paper statements for Transaction Accounts, Credit Cards and Merchant Facilities; and
• Enable the permission to view Merchant Statements.

Important information
You can view online statements for accounts you have permission to view in CommBiz. If you are unable to view
Merchant Statements, contact your CommBiz Administrator to enable the permission.

Viewing online statements

1. Open your internet browser, visit www.commbiz.com.au and log into CommBiz.

2. On the top menu, select Accounts > Online Statements.


Note: Users must have permission to view Account Statements, Merchant Statements and Activity Statements.
Please see your CommBiz Administrator if your permission needs to be updated.
3. Select the Statement Type from the dropdown list.
4. You can view the Most Recent Statement or select statements from a specific year by clicking the Statement
Year radio button and choosing from the dropdown list.
Note: You can access historical account statements for up to seven years.
5. Select the account for which you wish to view the statement from the Account dropdown list.

6. Click Search.

7. If you are still receiving paper statements, you can choose to Stop paper statements by clicking the button now.

8. Select the statement you want to retrieve.

9. If you are still receiving paper statements, you will receive another prompt to stop paper statements.

10. You can either click Agree to turn off paper statements, or click Not this time to open your statement without
turning off paper statements.

11. The statement will be displayed.

Viewing transaction history

1. You can retrieve a statement when viewing Transaction History for an account. Select Transaction History from
the lefthand menu or by selecting Accounts > Transaction History.

2. Select the Account from the dropdown list.

3. Click Search, the Transaction History for your chosen account is displayed.

4. Click View to display the online statement.

Turning off paper statements

1. On the top menu, click Functions > Service Requests.

2. Select Manage Statements from the lefthand menu.

3. You can turn off paper statements for:
• All Transaction Accounts and Credit Cards;
• All Merchant Facilities; or
• A selection of Accounts and facilities.

4. If you click A selection of Accounts and facilities, you can select the relevant account/s from the dropdown list.

5. Click Add.
6. The account is added. Repeat these steps to add more accounts.

7. When you have finished adding accounts, click Next.

8. Check that the details are correct. If they are not, you can Cancel or Modify.

9. If the details are correct, click Confirm.

Note: Stop paper requests for Transaction Accounts and Credit Cards must be authorised by a Service Delegate
or Account Delegate. Stop paper requests for Merchant Facilities do not require authorisation.
10. Click Authorise.

11. Type your Login ID, Login Password and One Time Password from your CommBiz token, then click Authorise.

12. The request has been submitted. Click OK.

Adding or checking permission to view Merchant Statements

Note: You must be a CommBiz Administrator to add or check permission to view Merchant Statements.
1. On the top menu, click Admin > Users.
2. From the Results list, select the User whose permission you are adding or checking.

3. Click Edit.

4. Click the Permissions Mode tab.

5. The CommBiz Defined Role includes the permission to view Merchant Facility Statements. Custom Permissions
require you to add the permission to view Merchant Facility Statements.

6. Select Assign Custom Permissions, then click the Transactions tab.

7. Scroll down to view Transaction Permissions.

8. Click the checkbox under the Online Services section to enable this User to View Merchant Statements.

9. Click Save.

10. Click Confirm.

11. A screen confirming the change is displayed.
