SOL507

This document provides an overview of the SOL507: Soil Physics course offered at the university. The course aims to help students understand basic concepts of soil physics, physical characteristics of soils, soil water characteristics and distribution, and thermal properties of soils. The course is divided into 6 units that cover topics such as soil texture, structure, composition, water movement and retention, hydraulic conductivity, and temperature. Students will also gain practical experience estimating textural class, mechanical analysis, water constants, bulk density, porosity, and water infiltration and permeability rates in soils.
