Topic 2. My Friend: AVS - Academic Team

This lesson teaches students how to describe friends using adjectives related to physical appearance and personality. Students first learn and practice using vocabulary like "tall", "short", "kind", and "shy". They then ask and answer questions about each other's best friends, such as what they look like and their character. As a speaking activity, students describe their own friend to the class. For homework, students write a description of a friend applying what they learned. The overall goal is for students to be able to accurately portray friends using relevant visual and behavioral adjectives.
