Students
to use the
Reculta Platform
Features for Students

Feed
• The students can view these posts as they login to the Reculta platform.
• They will be exposed to the central newsfeed that shows them the latest posts
made by the placement team including

• Generic Posts
• Automated Posts for
1. Applications Published
2. Events Created
3. Shortlists Released

The feed also includes the following

1. Events for the students planned for the day


2. Summary of the application status for each Placement drive that the student is part
of

Profile & Reculta CV Builder
Create your own customized resume in just a few easy steps!

1) Create your profile:

• Start by filling in your details across various sections such as Personal, Academic,
Professional, etc. All the major data points are captured in the form of drop-downs
for homogeneity and ease of use.
• Upload proofs alongside each point, to be verified by the Placement Team/ Verifier.

• Fill in the details of your resume once you have the basic information. These points
will reflect as CV points on your CV.
• At any given point of time, you will be able to see how your resume looks by clicking
on the Resume Preview button on the top left corner of the page.

Personal Details:

• Details such as name, gender, language filled in the Personal Details section will
appear on top of the CV along with the college logo.

• The hobbies section shows up at the bottom of the CV.

Academic Details and Achievements:

• The academic details section has to be filled as shown below.

• All the necessary information gets reflected on the CV in the form of a table.

• Achievements can be added by adding a separate point with a header of your
choice
• In case of certifications, they can also be mapped under a separate header called
Certifications against grad/post-grad section as applicable.

Professional experience and Internships:
• Internships and Work experience should be filled under the professional
experience section.

• Only full time work experience will be counted while calculating the total work
experience
• The Designation, Company and duration will show up on the CV Header.

• For filling in CV points, responsibilities have to be filled under a header of your


choice.

• All points with the same header under a section will appear together.
• Multiple responsibilities are to be filled as separate points.

Positions Of Responsibility:

• The Designation comes as the header, the dates on the right corner, the organization
on top and the achievements in the description box.

Extra-Curricular Achievements:

• The extra-curricular activities are to be filled in this manner.

• They will show up on the CV as follows:

• The Activity Name appears on the header, the achievements under different bullet
points in the description, along with the date.

Projects:

• The Academic projects and live projects can be filled in this section.
• The Header will come on the left, the dates on the right.
• The responsibilities will show up in the description.

2) Edit your resume:

• Resumes can be edited by clicking on a particular point inside it. The change gets
reflected on the main profile as well.

3) Know your CV verification status:

• Master Resumes are colour coded for easier understanding of the Verfication Status
of your resume. Points in red are rejected, points in yellow are pending verification
and points in white are approved.

4) Hide Points and Sections on the Resume:

• Certain points and sections can be hidden from resume variants by clicking on the red
eye button present beside each point or section.

5) Re-sequence points and sections on the Resume:

• The points in a section can be re-sequenced using the up and down arrows located
beside each point.

• Sections can be re-sequenced using a simple drag and drop feature on the resume.

6) Fine-tune your CV:

• Refine your CV through the toolbox provided as you click on Edit. You can alter fonts,
spacing, alignment, etc. to make your CV professional and complete.

7) Create your one-page CV:

• The one-page marker on your screen gives you an indication of the length of your
CV. You can edit, add or remove points or change your layout accordingly in order to
create the perfect one-page resume.

We have ensured that you have the best version of your CV in place by providing all the
tools required in making a perfect resume. With that in place, go conquer your interview!

Verification – Verifier’s View


• Resumes can be verified by the verifier through the verifier login. For every student,
the uploaded proofs are located right beside the CV points and can be approved,
rejected and frozen by clicking on the buttons as shown.

The Resume can be accessed by the Verifier by clicking on the Resume Preview button as
well.

The Apply Tab
• The Apply section on Reculta helps students directly apply to companies via the
platform when applications are invited by the placement team.
• The student is invited to apply through an automated mail that gets generated once
the applications are opened.
• They are redirected through the Reculta portal where they can see the details of the
application under the process they are a part of.

• The timer against each application gives an indication of the time left to apply to that
particular company.

• Additionally, the information button against company name can be used to view any
additional instructions given by the team.

• Clicking on the particular application shows the details of the said application such as
CTC, JD, instructions.

• Eligibility criteria (if any) can be viewed by clicking on Eligibility Criteria.

• The history of the company can be viewed by clicking on the blue tab. It shows
details regarding the time when applications were opened, the current status of the
company, where that particular student stands I the process, etc.

• Additionally, by toggling the performance view button, each student can view
his/her performance in each stage of the application process for a particular
company. This helps the students get a real-time understanding of his/her
performance with respect to each application process.

• The overall performance of the student can also be viewed through the performance
dashboard unique to each student at the top of the page. This gives a student first-
hand knowledge of where he/she stands in the placement process and also acts an
identifier of his/her strengths and weaknesses at each level.
