In a global environment the ability to communicate effectively can

be a challenge. Even when both parties speak the same language there
can still be misunderstandings due to ethic and cultural differences. Over
the last decade, there have been countless examples from the business
sector that demonstrate how poor communication can lead to poor
organizational performance. Understanding the impact of globalization on
cross-culture communication is imperative for organizations seeking to
create a competitive advantage in the global market.

• Explain how cultural and global issues affect communication.

technology and to communication. Vary your audience according to the
following preference: one government official, one employee from any
business or offices and one college student (not form USTP). You may have
a phone interview, video chat or text. Write your raw data on this format in

synthesis of the gathered data making PROPER CITATIONS (mention authors,
date and other applicable sources). Use the title The Impact of Globalization
in developing a 7-10 sentence paragraph. (You can use separate sheet of
