1. Be selfless. Societal When you're selfless, you put
other people's needs ahead of
your own. The opposite of
selfish is selfless. You think
less about yourself and more
about others. You're giving
and compassionate.
2. Be respectful. Societal Respect is defined as showing
concern and regard for
someone or something.
Respectful is the adjective
form of respect, which refers
to a sense of appreciation. As
a result, when you act
respectfully, you're
demonstrating your adoration
for another individual.
3. Have integrity. societal Integrity implies that you
conduct your life in line with
your innermost beliefs, that
you are honest with everyone,
and that you always follow
through on your promises.
Integrity is a highly regarded
quality, particularly among
leaders. You're more likely to
be considered for significant
promotions and leadership
positions if you live with
integrity.
4. Be genuine. Societal Genuine individuals have a
high sense of self-esteem by
definition. So, authentic
individuals are those that
have a strong sense of self-
worth — one that is stable,
not brittle. And, in general,
people with high self-esteem
are less defensive about
things.
5. Be compassionate. Societal Being compassionate entails
being conscious of not only
your own feelings and ideas,
but also those of people
around you. Being
compassionate also
necessitates responsiveness.
Compassionate individuals
are ready to help when others
are in need.
