Introduction
The project contains the following documents / files:
• Task Project (Session 1);
• Engineering Drawing of the Products;
• Supplied files (.STEP).

Description of project and tasks


Your company has a problem while modelling 3 following parts, that is Upper Housing, Shaft and Piston. You
have to finish the project by using the following references of the Supplied 3D Files.
Time: 2,5 hours.

Instructions to the Competitor


Project 1 – Upper Housing
Model the Component and Follow the Instructions below:
1. Create the 3D Model of the Upper Housing by using the Engineering Drawing provided and the
Supplied Files to get the references dimension and geometry.
2. Change the Dimension of the 2 Thread in the Left and Right Side of Upper Housing from M10x1,5
to be M14x2
3. Create a Rendering Images of the Upper Housing and save as .PNG Files. Make sure that the
special Surface Texture has a different color Appearance.
4. Take a Screenshot of the part to show the value of Volume
5. Save as/Export the Model of the Upper Housing to be .STEP Files

Project 2 – Shaft
Model the Component and Follow the Instructions below:
1. Create the 3D Model of the Shaft.
2. Create Parallel Splines on Diameter 13 (end of the shaft) with 26 Tooth
3. Take a Screenshot of the part to show the value of Volume.
4. Save as/Export the Model of Shaft to be .STEP Files.

Project 3 – Piston
Model the Component and Follow the Instructions below:
1. Create the 3D Model of the Piston.
2. Create a Rendering Images of the Piston and save as .PNG Files. Make sure that the special
Surface Texture has a different color Appearance
3. Take a Screenshot of the part to show the value of Volume.
4. Save as/Export the Model of the Piston to be .STEP Files.

What is inside my ZIP/RAR Files?


Send the following Files:
1. Original 3D Files of the Upper Housing, Shaft, and Piston
2. 2 (Two) Rendering Images Files (.PNG) of Upper Housing and Piston.
3. Screenshot value of Volume for Upper Housing, Shaft, and Piston.
4. .STEP Files of the Upper Housing, Shaft, and Piston
